Information about the class


There are 20 teenage learners in the class. They have two fifty minutes lessons every
week as part of their school curriculum. I have been teaching them for nearly a year.
They use Pathway to English: English News & Views as their English course
book.

Main Aim
By the end of the lesson the learners will have practised vocabulary related to
physical appearance.

Subsidiary Aim
By the end of the lesson the learners will have practised describing people.

Personal Aim
To reduce teacher language in whole class activities and provide more learners
interaction.

Materials (including source)


Course book (Pathway to English: English News & Views), blackboard, chalk,
pictures ( SHE magazine- UK Edition)

Assumptions
Learners will know some of the vocabulary and they will be interested in enriching
their vocabulary.
