1 Let ABC be a triangle where AC 6= BC. Let P be the foot of the altitude taken from C to AB; and let V be
the orthocentre, O the circumcentre of ABC, and D the point of intersection between the radius OC and the side
AB. The midpoint of CD is E.
2 The triangle ABC acute with gravity center M is such that AM B = 2ACB. Prove that:
(a) AB 4 = AC 4 + BC 4 AC 2 BC 2 ,

3 It is given a triangle ABC whose circumcenter is O and orthocenter H. If AO = AH find the angle BAC
that triangle.
4 It is given an acute triangle ABC , AB 6= AC where the feet of altitude from A its H. In the extensions of the
sides AB and AC (in the direction of B and C) we take the points P and Q respectively such that HP = HQ and
the points B, C, P, Q are concyclic. Find the ratio HP
HA .
5 ABC is an acute angle triangle such that AB > AC and BAC = 60 . Lets denote by O the center of the
circumscribed circle of the triangle and H the intersection of altitudes of this triangle. Line OH intersects AB in
PO
point P and AC in point Q. Find the value of the ration HQ .
6 In the acute angle triangle ABC the point O is the center of the circumscribed circle and the lines OA, OB, OC
intersect sides BC, CA, AB respectively in points M, N, P such that N M P = 90o .

(a) Find the ratios N M C , P M B .
(b) If any of the angles of the triangle ABC is 60o , find the two other angles.
7 From the point P outside a circle with center O draw the tangents P A and P B where A and B belong to
.In a random point M in the chord AB we draw the perpendicular to OM , which intersects P A and P B in C and
D. Prove that M is the midpoint CD.
8 Let C1 and C2 be concentric circles, with C2 in the interior of C1 . From a point A on C1 , draw the tangent AB
to C2 (B C2 ). Let C be the second point of intersection of AB and C1 ,and let D be the midpoint of AB. A line
passing through A intersects C2 at E and F in such a way that the perpendicular bisectors of DE and CF
intersect at a point M on AB. Find, with proof, the ratio AM/M C.
9 Let K be the circumscribed circle of the trapezoid ABCD . In this trapezoid the diagonals AC and BD are
perpendicular. The parallel sides AB = a and CD = c are diameters of the circles Ka and Kb respectively. Find
the perimeter and the area of the part inside the circle K, that is outside circles Ka and Kb .
