This paper actually quests is media actually a partial cause of globalization, rather than just
another globalized industry. Media is largely a cultural product, and the transfer of such a
product is likely to have an influence on the recipients culture. One of the major claims, notably
by hyper globalists, is that globalisation erodes the power of the state; that it has increasingly
become difficult to exercise authority over territorial space. The comings of digital technologies
and communications that transcend geographical boundaries expansion of the World Wide Web
have been interpreted as a direct assault on state sovereignty.
The global media, especially television and the Internet, are said to possess great potential:

- to spread democratic values and opportunities,


- to empower and encourage participation even by marginalized groups
- to subvert and challenge government power in the case of restrictive regimes to reduce
the power of the nation states through increased trans-border information flows

This paper discusses globalization of media and trends unifying widely different societies,
integrating them into one cosmos. Like all popular concepts meant to cover a variety of
phenomena, both "interdependence" and "globalization" have many meanings. Developments
have been increasingly characterized not by their growth dynamics but by their links to the
process of globalization. Geographical closeness or cultural proximity helps media cross
borders.. Among the main issues in globalization of communications media are trans-border data
flow, cultural imperialism, media and, the flow of information. It discusses the key issues of the
power of media ability to intervene in the course of events and to affect their outcome like:
Media Markets, Audiences, Advertisers, Finance and Creative Content.
In conclusion paper will also focus on the key global challenges and issues.Interanary towards
justification of media trials and its implications.
