PTA News: Its time again to begin nomination and election for the DMC PTA Board for 2017-2018 school year. We have a
lot of event happening at our school and need all the help we can get, please get involved. Parents, the PTA Board is looking
to fill positions for next year. If you are interested in serving on one of the board positions please e-mail Kristy Coleman

Cox Family Dinner Night: Thank you families for all the support you give our school and PTA with the Cox Family Dinner
Night! Our schools profit for Caf Zupas was about $250.00! That means we brought in over $1,000.00 that evening!

Nevada Moves Day: Was a big success! Our Fifth Grade Leadership Students were passing out pencils when they saw kids
walking and riding to school! We had over 150 students walk and/or ride to school that day! A big shout out goes out to the
Perkins Family, they biked all the way from their house to school that morning which was over 13 miles! WOW! Safe Routes
to School will be providing a watch to raffle off for our students this week!

Cub Cheers: Way to go to Mr. Orths Students theyve did our Friday
Morning Announcements and were awesome! Congratulations to the
following students for receiving Cox Cub of the Week: Layla Andrade,
Justin Martin, Preston Tabak, Nevaeh Cordova, Tegan Smith,
Serenity Parham, Sylvia Berumen, Lenny Jimenz-Campoya, Brooklyn April,
Yoana Pamukchieva, Lylah Hradisky, Kristina Duran, Katelyn Duran, Roman
Pandullo, and Bryce Malone.
Yearbook News: A yearbook tab has been added to our school website! The
deadline for uploading pictures is March 31st! The yearbook needs your

Milers News: Congratulations to the Way-to-Go for 100 winners for
accomplishing their 100 miles: Jayden Tonthat, Kimball Steffen, Finn Loorz, Amy Sisavanh, Thomas Burton, Mr. Phil, and
Roman Pandullo.

Kindergarten Round-Up: Be on the lookout for information regarding registration for next years Kindergarten! Registration
will begin in April. April 17th begins the annual ONLINE REGISTRATION for CCSD. Remember, even if your student
(K-12) is already attending a CCSD school, you still must go into Infinite Campus and RE-ENROLL your child(ren) for
the upcoming school year. Re-enrolling your student ensures that the district staffs the students appropriately for each school.
If your child is on a zone variance currently, you still must enroll for the school they are CURRENTLY attending.
