4 FIRST-AID MEASURES
GENERAL INFORMATION
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure.
NOTE! Keep affected person away from heat, sparks and flames!
General first aid, rest, warmth and fresh air.
Do not give victim anything to drink if they are unconscious.
Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
INHALATION
Move injured person into fresh air and keep person calm under observation. If uncomfortable: Seek hospital and bring these instructions.
Place unconscious person on the side in the recovery position and ensure breathing can take place.
Get medical attention.
When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering oxygen.
Perform artificial respiration if breathing has stopped.
Vapours have a narcotic effect and may cause headache, fatigue, dizziness and nausea.
INGESTION
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING!
Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Keep person under observation. If person becomes uncomfortable take to hospital along with these
instructions.
When risk of unconsciousness, place and transport the victim in secured side position.
If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach content doesn't get into the lungs.
SKIN CONTACT
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure.
Promptly wash contaminated skin with soap or mild detergent and water. Promptly remove clothing if soaked through and wash as above.
Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
EYE CONTACT
Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing.
Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids.
Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.
5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES
Be aware of danger of explosion.
Move container from fire area if it can be done without risk.
Use water SPRAY only to cool containers! Do not put water on leaked material.
Avoid water in straight hose stream; will scatter and spread fire.
Dike and collect extinguishing water.
Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
If risk of water pollution occurs, notify appropriate authorities.
UNUSUAL FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARDS
HIGHLY FLAMMABLE!
If heated, volume and pressure increases strongly, resulting in explosion of container.
Vapours may form explosive mixture with air at room temperature.
SPECIFIC HAZARDS
The product is flammable, and heating may generate vapours which may form explosive vapour/air mixtures.
Vapours may form explosive air mixtures even at room temperature.
Vapours may be ignited by a spark, a hot surface or an ember.
Closed containers can burst violently when heated, due to excess pressure build-up.
Fire creates:
Toxic gases/vapours/fumes of:
Carbon monoxide (CO).
Carbon dioxide (CO2).
PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRE
Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not discharge onto the ground or into water courses.
Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be IMMEDIATELY alerted to the Environmental Agency or other appropriate regulatory
body.
Contain spillages with sand, earth or any suitable adsorbent material.
Ensure that waste and contaminated materials are collected and removed from the work area as soon as possible in a suitably labelled container.
Dispose of waste and residues in accordance with local authority requirements.
SPILL CLEAN UP METHODS
Stop leak if possible without risk.
Ventilate well, stop flow of gas or liquid if possible. Remove ignition sources. Do not allow chemical to enter confined spaces such as sewers due to
explosion risk. Sewers designed to preclude formation of explosive concentrations of vapour may be permitted.
Extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking. Ventilate.
Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into containers.
Clean-up personnel should use respiratory and/or liquid contact protection.
Ensure that waste and contaminated materials are collected and removed from the work area as soon as possible in a suitably labelled container.
For waste disposal, see section 13.
Wash thoroughly after dealing with a spillage.
USAGE PRECAUTIONS
Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact.
Do not use contact lenses.
Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame.
Static electricity and formation of sparks must be prevented.
Use explosion proof electric equipment.
Eye wash facilities and emergency shower must be available when handling this product.
During application and drying, solvent vapours will be emitted.
