This guide was compiled as a companion to The Unofficial Studio One 3 Users Manual to help you get
the most out of Studio One 3. The shortcuts listed in this guide are pre-configured by PreSonus and are
assumed to be the most logical keyboard shortcuts to list; however, every function listed is configurable
to best suit your needs. If a shortcut is assigned to a key or group of keys that dont make sense to you,
you can change them. Additionally, many functions have not been assigned shortcuts. These functions
can be assigned to any shortcuts youd like. You can then save your custom mapping.

If you are coming to Studio One 3 from another DAW, you may find it necessary to start with a modified
version of Studio Ones keyboard shortcuts that are similar to your original DAW. For example, many
people coming from Logic will find that there is a keyboard shortcuts preset that will change the
shortcuts in Studio One 3 to mimic those in Logic. These presets can be found at:

Studio One > Preferences > General > Keyboard Shortcuts

On this screen, you will find a drop-down menu at the near the bottom of the window called Keyboard
Mapping Scheme. This dropdown offers you the following keyboard shortcut mappings:

Studio One
Cubase
Logic
Pro Tools
as well as your own custom keyboard mappings.

Naming Conventions

This guide includes keyboard modifiers intended for Mac. For Windows users, anywhere that you see
the following modifiers, replace them with the Windows versions:
