REQUIREMENTS FOR MOLDAVIAN
AIRPORT WEBSITE

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Main Page:
1. The system must have an online flight schedule tableau on the main
page, that will include sections for departure and arrival flights
presenting the flight number, destination, scheduled time, flight status,
and a time converter for 5 different time zones (Madrid, Paris, London,
Moscow and Local time Chisinau);

2. The system must contain an interactive map of flights that on click

over destination point will show the information about working airlines,
days on which fights take place and time of departure from Chisinau;

3. The system must provide simplified version flight search based on 3

input areas of search (destination, departure and arrival) with the
possibility to access the full version of search in menu.

4. The system must provide currency converter for 6 types of currency,

including Euro, Moldavian leu, Ukranian Hrivna, American Dollar, Ruble
and Romanian leu.

5. The system must provide detailed information about fees and charges
and offered services in airport in separate sections to cover all amount
the information.

6. The system must contain introductive video tutorial that will explain
basic steps (like where to ask information about flights, when to come
for a check-in, what document to present for check in, info about
 luggage, how to pass through scan etc.) that a passenger should do in
order take a flight.

Flight Schedule section:

7. The flight schedule section of the system must provide access to online
flight schedule, full flight schedule, flight search and detailed
information about active working airlines (airline name, code
destination and contacts)

8. The flight schedule section of the system must provide full version of
flight schedule containing a table with information about destination,
operation period and specific days, flight number, time of departure
and approximate time of arrival from and to destination, filter by
operation days and explicative notes.

Information for passenger section:

9. The system must provide full information about such sections like ways
of getting to the airport, Travel documents, e-Visa to Moldova,
Passenger video guide, Check-in, Customs control, Luggage
transportation, Special categories of passengers, Tranzit/Transfer
Procedures, Smoking in the airport, Useful links, Legal framework,
Address your question, Passengers rights.

NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The system must be multilingual and provide translations to Romanian,
Russian and English languages.

2. The system must be portable on mobile devices containing simplified

versions of online flight schedule, flight search, basic airlines
information, contacts and address your question field, and possibility to
go back to desktop version of the website.

3. The system must provide user friendly interface that will contain 6
main sections (Information for passengers, Services, Business
information, Flight Schedule, Fees and Charges and Contacts) that will
provide users with all necessary information, short versions of each
section in main page, map of website, news, disclaimer, basic info
about website developers.

4. On the main page the system must contain a news carousel (with
active next and previous buttons) that will provide easy access to news
 thumbnails (that will contain news intro and an image under the title
and posted date) on hover over news title.

5. The systems load time must be faster on mobile devices in order to

reduce waiting time of user and increase overall performance.
