As the 3rd biggest textile and textile product exporter region
in Indonesia, East Java has been lost many textile and textile
product industry since the ACFTA agreement declared.
The uncompetitiveness of locals textile industry is caused by
old condition of textile machines and lack of skillful operator
which is coupled with imported raw materials. Meanwhile
textile and textile product demand keep increasing especially
for Eastern Indonesia region market.
