REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR SELECTION OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT

CONSULTANT (PMC) FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS OF NEW HO COMPLEX AT
KNOWLEDGE CITY, HYDERABAD

1.Page 5-1.1 : It is clarified that the estimated cost of the project is Rs.60.0 crores
(approx)

2.Page 10 -3.5.11 &12 : It is clarified that bills will be prepared by the respective
vendors/contractors.

3. Page 13- 3.5.41 : It is clarified that the security deposit withheld from the contractor is
to be recommended for release by the PMC after expiry of the specified Defects Liability
Period after ensuring that no identified snags/defects are left un- rectified/ unattended
by the contractor

4.Page 15-3.7.1(ii): It is clarified that the clause pertains to Construction stage

5.Page 18-3.7.3(vi): It is clarified that Building permit being already in place , the
required liaising work pertains to intermediate checks by these agencies during
construction stage.

6.Page 20-3.7.3(xxiii) : It is clarified that the fees payable to special consultants/

Special Testing laboratories will be borne by the Bank/Contractor, as applicable.

7. Page 21-3.7.4(ii) : It is clarified that this stage refers to preparation of snag list to be
attended to for issue of completion certificate ( for substantial/virtual completion)
before handing over. Clause (ix) refers to end of Defects Liability Period reckoned from
date of completion certificate, whereat the satisfactory completion of defects pointed out
is to be checked/certified for release of security deposit.

8.Page 23-4.2&4 It is clarified that the reference to upcoming construction projects may
be disregarded. In partial modification of the terms with regard to fixed fees ,as
mentioned in the tender document, the Bank may at its discretion consider a payment of
up to Rs.50,000/- per week to the PMC for the duration of delay solely attributable to
the Main Contractor and for which the Contractor is required to pay liquidated damages
for delay, as per tender conditions and limits .The decision of the Bank regarding the
admissibility and quantum of payment to the PMC ,after giving due hearing to the
PMCs arguments ,shall be final and binding on the PMC.

9.Page 23- 4.9: It is clarified that the BG is towards advance amount and is
unconnected to the Performance Guarantee

10.Page 24-4.13.6: It is clarified that the reference is to Virtual Completion certificate to

be issued by the Architect/Bank.

11.Page 25-4.15 : It is clarified that the security deposit referred to is the same as
Performance Guarantee, which will be converted into a Performance Bond.

12.Page 26-5.3: It is clarified that the Technical Score (TS) will be arrived at after giving
70% weightage for the Technical Sore1(TS1) under clause 5.2 and 30% weightage for
the 5 broad equally weighted parameters spelt out in clause 5.3.3.

13 .Page 30 -6.7.7-It is clarified that all receipted payments to local bodies and other
authorities will be paid by the Bank

14 .Page 35- Annexure 02-A(iii):It is clarified that three continuous years of employment
Should be as on 31.03.2015

15. Page 35 Annexure 02- B(iii): The area specified is inclusive of covered parking in
basement and stilt.

16.Page 36- Annexure 02-Note: It is clarified that the stipulation regarding plots of 3
acres or more can be disregarded.

17.Page 49- Annexure12: The data is required for FY2014-15, 2013-14 and 2012-13.

18. Page 66-9.12(iv). It is clarified that the first sentence of this clause (i.e The Project
Management Consultant shall assume...scope of work ) is deleted.

19.Page 68-10.0 (xii): the provisions of Arbitration Act 1996 shall apply.

20.Page 68-11: It is clarified that the Project Documents refer to Good for Construction
drawings, Agreements/Warranties from Vendors, Test reports, Measurement
Books/Records etc.

21.It is clarified that full deployment of site personnel in pre -construction stage will not
be required and deployment can be planned phase wise.

22. It is clarified that Proof checking of MEP services is included in the scope of
services and no extra payment will be made in this regard.

23.No material shall be procured and supplied by the Bank for inclusion in the work in
the normal course. (No Stores facility needs to be maintained by the PMC)

24. No preference/relaxation would be given to PSUs , Govt. Organizations for the
bidding.

23.All other terms and conditions shall remain unchanged.

24. The corrigendum shall form part of the tender and should be duly signed and
enclosed with the Technical bid documents.
