The 1.56-in HSD* high shot density perforating gun system puncher
is used to make holes in downhole tubulars to establish pressure
equalization or circulation between the primary borehole and the
annulus. The system employs specially designed shaped charges
that are selected for the thickness of the inner tubular to avoid
damaging the outer string. The charges effectively punch through
wall thicknesses of up to 1 in.

With a sufficiently small diameter to allow access through

downhole restrictions, the 1.56-in puncher is compatible with both
magnetic and spring-loaded positioning devices to ensure correct
orientation at the time of firing.

The 1.56-in puncher is compatible with the Secure2* RF-safe

electronic detonator in addition to conventional detonators.
