1. What is going well?


The point of this question is to establish how things are going, your personal strengths and your
main achievements over the past 6/12 months. Please refer to your Balanced Score Card for
reflecting upon agreed KPIs/ Objectives.

There is autonomy to work and a lot of freedom to express your thought


process and ideas. Not only that but also that you are pushed as far as
getting your idea to an incubation stage which is followed by the
development stage,
Knowing that there is a lot of growth for improvement is in itself
challenging for me. The supportive environment has enabled me learn a
lot about Insurance in such little time,
The same supportive environment has given me a sense of comfort in
proposing new ideas and know that they will be appreciated by my peers.

2. What is not going as well as it should?


Here the idea is to find out what you think are areas for improvement for the department or the
Company, and in your own performance as well. Please refer to your Balanced Score Card for
reflecting upon agreed KPIs/ Objectives.

There is inter-departmental bureaucracy because of which there is delay


in development. Useful time is caught up in doing routine/mundane tasks
which is not challenging and does not lead to growth in skill-set,
The operation team needs to have more people to share the work-load
with so that everyone has time to ponder upon the development of the
whole system,
There are opportunities for improvement and development all around me.
I need to enhance and develop more skills which will enable me to identify
and then materialize these opportunities into something sustainable.

3. What exactly is expected of you over the next 6/12 months?


The point of this question is to get clarity on your goals and priorities and how these will improve
efficiencies in their Department or generate business for the Company (Including the key
measures).

I need to constantly work on improving the CSD processes to make them


into more time/cost efficient,
I also am expected to understand and be updated with the evolving
insurance industry in order to tailor our moves according to the need of
the industry,
Understand the CSD processes in as much detail as possible in order to
indentify the lacunas and work on the loop-holes,
Support the operations team in performing routine activities. Extend my
support in the training and development of all the incoming candidates.

4. What plans do you have to grow yourself, and to grow the company?
The idea here is to encourage you to articulate your improvement plan, how you intend to get to
the next level as well as how you envisage improvements for the Company.

Read more to know and keep myself updated with the corporate (which
includes the insurance industry) developments all around the world,
Alongside, I need to work on my skill-set which will enable me to
implement these developments,
I need to be able to create a culture which pushes not only me but also
people around me to grow and hone their skills. I will continue to take up
tasks and ideas which challenge me so that I do not stop the development
of my skill.

5. Your expectations of your Manager. To assist me in achieving my KPI's


and priorities I would appreciate from you:

More of Creation of arenas, opportunities and projects which are challenging


for me and will place me high on my learning curve. Personal involvement in the
ideas suggested by me, aimed at the improvement of the whole department.
Same of the constant support and appreciation provided. Moreover, it is good to
know that your manager has got your back when you are undertaking professional
risks to bring in innovation. Less of involvement in the routine activities and more
interest in pushing everyone towards development.
