Correct answers will not be displayed because this activity is to let the teacher know what the students
know and dont know. The point is for the students to relax and answer the questions as honestly has
possible. The multiple-choice questions all contain dont know as an answer to prevent students from
guessing. The students are encouraged not to guess on questions and answer based on only what they know.

about the Civil Rights Movement. This activity will not be graded. Nothing in the activity will be shared
with students or parents.

Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: After the activity the students will begin learning about
the Civil Rights Movement. The activity will help the teacher assess where to begin and what to focus on
during lessons on the Civil Rights Movement.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. For this activity I hope to learn as a class where
my students are in their understanding of the Civil Rights Movement including Rosa Parks, Montgomery
