However, they have to opt at least two 4 credit courses to make up 8 credits in total, SUHEME UE STUDY In order 1 enable you tp complete Bacrelo’s Degree Programme withn the mnimum period of three years, you are allowed to take courses worth 22 credits in each year. in the first year cf study, you should take the prescribed credits in Foundation Courses (QSHF 101, FEG 1 or FHD 2 and FEG 2 cr any one of MILs or FST 1), and the remanhng credits In Elective Courses, In the second year you should take the remaining credits of Faundaticn Course and Elective Courses. In the third year you should take 36 or 24 credits in Elective Courses and 16 or & credits in Application Oriented Courses. 2.5.4 How to Choose Courses for B.A/B.Com./BSc. BA. In the first year of study, you should take 16 credits in Foundation Courses @SHF101, FEGI or FHD2 and FEG2 or ary ene of MIL®), and the ramaning 16 credits in Elective Courses. In the sacond yaar you should take tha remaining 2 ceuits of Foundation Course (PSTL) and Elective Courses, tn the third year you sould take 16 or 24 credits Elective coursss and 16 or 8 credits in Applicaticn-Orientad Courses. Foundation Courses: In this category of courses, you have to choose from the follow ng FEG 1 or FHD 2 FEG 2 or 8HDF 1 or any one of the listed Modem Indian Languages. If you want elactive ccurses in a partculer discipline you must tae a mirimum of @ crodits and a maxirnurn of 48 credits in that disclhe, B.A. (Major) IF you want to study cne perticular discipline in depth to obtain B.A, Major or you want to pursue the seme iscipline for your postgraduate studies, you can select courses worth 48 credits fam that clscipline, except for Mathematics. In B.A, the option to do Major is availahle in English, Hindi, Urdu, Economics, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and Mathematics.
