Students voice on equality

We invoke our rights the roaring voice of collegians echoed in the ears of
Western Mindanao State University Ipil External Studies Unit. The university really
had its quality education, has complete basic education, students are well
knowledgeable and very competitive, instructors were also very intelligent and
flexible on their field but the conflicts and issues isnt about the university but the
current administrations who runs the rules.
Before, everybodys just living peacefully in this university, students have
their freedom in doing they wanted to do. The school isnt just having a quality but
also it is very inexpensive and never cause a hole in packets. Most of the students
there were scholars and is very precocious. There is a good relationship between
students and teachers, equality is present with great respect of each in everyone.
Unfortunately, the invariable circumstance that our school always facing is the lack
of facilities for students to learn more and discovered their skills in a way of
applying it. Thats why everybody is throwing some feedbacks and questions to the
past administration. where are the product of the money we payed?, where are
the money?, wheres the money goes?. both sides have mistaken of what is
really going on. Until the last admin lost in positions. The university is really for
those less fortunate and is under the hands of Local Government Unit and this is the
thing which everybody never understands well. Twenty percent of the money of the
school belongs to the LGU and the five percent on the main university, thus, there
are lots of appropriation. But there is nothing in the school. One of the faculties said
that the funds are for the facilities and educational materials however there is none!
They just took students for granted and the sweats of their parents has lost without
any valid reasons of the school. And this is the main account that triggered all the
collegians to protest and cast their voice of rights to the disposal. The situation
mopped up when the new admin seats on the positions. They Implemented an
increase tuition fees and change the regulations because it is said in the legal
document came from the government. Students became wild and some are just
hiding their voice because they dont want argumentations. Group of students firmly
holds their rights. The peaceful ambiance of the school turns into fire. Students
knows no balance and fairness anymore to the contrary. Bombing words has been
toss up to those who govern the school. People scrutinize what they have put up in
the school. They never provide the needs of every students in some respects. They
spend and use our money without any transparency.
We, the students deserve an equal respect and treatment, not because were
just students we dont have the rights to speak, we have merits. We dont deserve
discriminations, we respect others if they will respect us, we opposed if everything
isnt right anymore, we shout for justice and equality. In this world, it must have
equality. Fairness isnt just about being fair but also it is a matter of respecting
oneself to have a peaceful relationship to one another, no humiliations no
distractions.
