Education
Canada Student Grant for low-income students will be
increased to $3,000 per year for full-time students,
while part-time students grant will be increased to
$1,800 per year
The student loan system will become more flexible; no
graduate with student loans will be required to pay back
the loans until they make $25, 000 per year

Environment
With the provinces and territories, a new Low Carbon Economy Trust will be
created, which will fund projects to reduce carbon emissions. $2 billion will
be invested in this trust
$25 million will be invested to develop Canadas National Parks system and
manage/expand the National Wildlife and Migratory Bird Sanctuaries
The percentage of Canadian marine and coastal areas protected will be
increased from 1.3% to 5%
