ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Sri Vidya College of Engineering
and Technology, approved by AICTE and
affiliated to Anna University, Chennai was
established in the year 2008 for the
upliftment of urban and rural youth by the
philanthropic visionaries of Sri Vidya
Education Trust. The college offers 6 UG
programmes and 4 PG programmes
including Master of Business /
Administration.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Electrical and
Electronics Engineering was established in
the year of 2008 with a sanctioned intake of
60. The laboratories are equipped with
modern technical softwares which provide
the students an industrial environment inside
the laboratories. The department has rich
experienced and dedicated staff with the
back ground of both teaching and industrial
experience. The students are motivated to do
real time project works applicable for
industries and society. The department
organizes regular seminars and expert guest
lectures from industry and institutions to
mould the enthusiastic students into the
excellent engineers, while the exposure to
the latest technologies fosters the creativity
and independent thinking of students.
