In 2013 I successfully secured funding from Our Big Gig to promote a two-day festival in the High Town Area of Luton, as
part of a nationwide festival program.

I curated this project through SNAP/33, in which I also contacted many other local organisations who wanted to get
involved, which in turn provided us with further funding to put on stages across the area.

Across the two-day festival we used venues Charlie Browns (Now Bar 32), The Freeholder, The Painters Arms, The Brick-
layers, Hope Church, Scandinavia Caf, High Hats & Shop 33. I also contacted Luton Culture and sound system suppliers
to set up a temporary stage in one of the car parks on the road.

I also played a key part in marketing the event, which included writing press releases, contacting local news publica-
tions, designing logos/posters/flyers, sharing content digitally across social media and creating web-based promo-
tional videos, as well as a dvd documentary.
