REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2016-298

AN ORDINANCE CREATING NEW POSITIONS IN THE CITY
ASSESSOR'S OFFICE, ONE (1) SUPERVISING
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, S/G 22, FOUR (4) LOCAL
ASSESSMNET OPERATIONS OFFICER I, S/G 11, TWO (2)
ASSESSMENT CLERKS II, S/G 6 AND APPROPRIATING
NECESSARY FUNDS THEREOF

Sponsored by Hon. R Leone N. Gerochi, seconded by Hon.

Eduardo L. Pefiaredondo, and Hon. Joshua C. Alim

WHEREAS, due to the increasing workload of the City Assessor's Office, said
office is in need of additional manpower to meet with the demands of their office,
improve clientele satisfaction and for the interest of quality service;

WHEREAS, there is a need to create new positions in order to equally distribute

the workload of the said office, optimize and expedite their works and enhance the
services they render to their clients;

WHEREAS, Section 76 of RA. 7160 of the Local Government code of 1991 states
that:

"Sec. 76. - Every local government unit shall design and implement its
own structure and staffing pattern taking into consideration its service
requirements and financial capability, subject to the minimum standards and
guidelines prescribed by 'the Civil Service Commission. "

NOW, THEREFORE, let it be ordained by the Sanjgguniang Panlungsod, in

session assembled, that:

Section 1. - New positions in the City Assessor's Office are hereby created, as
follows:

One (1) Supervising Administrative Officer, S/G 22

For (4) Local Assessment Operations Officer I, S/G 11
Two (2) Assessment Clerks II, S/G 6

Section 2. - There is hereby appropriated the necessary funding for the purpose.

Section 3. -This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
