1. AIMS
The main aims of this lesson are to:
1. Set todays learning targets.
2. Recap previous lesson.
3. Reinforce the need to label pieces before cutting and to make assembly
easier.
4. Demonstration on sanding.
5. Demonstration on Assembly (Gluing -up).
6. Identify Keywords and continue with use of ticket out the door system.

pieces correctly, while

about sanding which we have
been doing in theory lately.

while we are sanding it? Why?
What direction should we be
sanding in, with or against the
grain? Why?
The class will then be asked to
return to their benches and to
either complete the
manufacturing or to start
sanding.
The teacher will then assist
those who may be behind or in
difficulty. If numerous students
are having problems, another
smaller demo may be possible

down and to gather around the
demo bench again.
The teacher will then
demonstrate how to assemble
and then glue-up their
projects.

return to their benches and
