not works." found in scripture? Which works are not

Jesus being established as chief cornerstone of The Word of God; whom the prophets &
apostles have written concerning the faith by which grace comes to man.

James 2:20

Galatians 3:1-9
1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before
whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by
the hearing of faith?

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth
he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith,
preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

James 2:18, 21-23

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy
works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son
upon the altar?

22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was
imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

James 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

True faith is to believe in all the commandments that are written in the law & the
testimony of Jesus. Through the keeping of his commandments are we established in the
grace of God to do works of righteousness. John 14:10-15,
But through continual disobedience that grace which was established can be cut off.
Psalm 94:23

2 Kings 23:24

Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the
book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.

Galatians 3:10-11
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed
is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to
do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just
shall live by faith.

Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and
the faith of Jesus.

commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be
good, or whether it be evil.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and
ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and
the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:
and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of
those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 21:27
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Therefore our works of righteousness is what allows us to be saved upon the return of
Jesus, but we must do endure until the end (the appearance of Jesus). Matthew 24:13

And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the

one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
