Pre-drilling should be carried out for each bored pile to
determine the rock head level and founding level of the pile
The borehole shall be extended below the founding level for
a minimum depth of 5 m
Collect rock cores for Uniaxial Compression Strength (UCS)
Pre-drilling and point load tests
