1 Introduction
Everyday we are witness a new wonder of Technology, be it a new Self Driving Car, a scary looking
bot that can walk and function like humans, something that looks like a dog... no wait a horse
I guess .. uhh .. nevermind, but one thing that unites most of them is the ability to see and
perceive the environment that are in presently.
Dont worry we wont ask you to make something like that, but hey wouldnt it be nice if
we could make robots play games using their vision and what better can we think other than
Football.

2 Problem Statement
The field would be circular arena which would be divided diametrically in two different colours.
You have to make an Intelligent Robot (the name is up to you), which can shoot the ball into the
Goal Post of other Player.

3 Task
Each hostel is to make a bot which can play soccer and score goals against an opponent. The bot
has to track the ball and hit into the goal post using image processing as its core.

bot should be 18V
3. The bot has to be wireless along with a provision of choosing between two different frequen-
cies.
4. No blower mechanism is allowed.
5. The bot is not allowed to suck the ball.
6. Use of Lego kits, readymade robots are not allowed. However use of readymade gear assem-

arena.

5 Gameplay
5.1 Calibration
1. Every Hostel will be given 15 minutes for calibration purpose. This is one time for complete
event and not before every match.

2. After the calibration, hostels have to shoot a goal to qualify into the competition.
Only 5 minutes will be given for this purpose. Hostels unable to shoot a goal
will not be allowed to participate in the event.

5.2 Game Procedure

1. After this first elimination, there will be a chit based knock-out fixture. This will be done
on-spot. Hostels will then compete in a Knockout matches.

2. Playing bots will be given a Jersey for playing, so you dont need to worry for choosing
colours to be put on the bot. Refer to Appendix to see the colors of the Jersey.

3. Every match will be of duration 5 minute.

4. If a ball stays in one half for more than 30 seconds, it will be picked and placed in other
