Last weeks The Cross and the Light performance was extremely moving! The
actors and actresses were very talented, and their singing was great! We hope everyone Literature
enjoyed it as much as we did!
We are continuing to read
This week is the last week of the third quarter. That means that everyone needs To Kill a Mockingbird. Be
their 20 Accelerated Reader points by Friday. Make sure that all missing work for Mrs. prepared for pop quizzes
every once in a while!
Scanlons Social Studies classes are in by Thursday; there will be no exceptions. Please
check GradeLink for grades!
Math
As always, Mrs. Treusch has extra credit opportunities for both English and 8A quiz on Wednesday over
Literature classes. If you find a vocabulary word from this year, write it down along with sections 6.1-6.4. 8R will have a
information about where you found it and your name and then turn it in to Mrs. Treusch Chapter 5 test on Monday then
for English extra credit. You may do this up to 10 times, which means you can find up to graph systems of equations.
10 vocabulary words. For Literature extra credit, go to our 8th grade blog and comment on
the posts up to 10 times. Your comments need to be meaningful and grammatically Science
