Growing Gardeners
The DDEC is getting ready for Spring by preparing our garden for planting.
This year we will be participating in the Carton 2 Garden contest to add to our
growing garden. With a little help from our families, we will need at least
100 cartons to get us started.

We will be hosting two events in the upcoming weeks for all families at the
DDEC to come and participate in for this exciting project.

Cartons2Garden
March 29th @ 4 pm
Join us in the Big Room where we will be using the cartons
we have collected in projects that will be added to our
garden and outside space.

Garden Party
April 27th @ 6-7 pm
We will be hosting a Garden Party at the
DDEC as part of Week of the Young Child.
All families are invited to join us as we
plant our garden together.
We will also be hosting an open house
during this event, when children who will
be transitioning this summer can introduce
their new classrooms and teachers to
their families.
