Rules and Guidelines for Use of

the Senior Lounge

Language
All Language Used In the Lounge Must Be Deemed Appropriate for Children of
All Grades (preK-12)
There Is To Be Absolutely NO Swearing of Any Kind At Any Time
Failure to Comply with These Guidelines Will Result in a Reprimand from a
Teacher or Administrator
If Any Senior is Caught or Reported Swearing More Than Once Their
Privileges Will Be Revoked for 1 Week
Eating in the Lounge
Students May Bring Food or Drink Into the Lounge As Long As They Clean
Up After Themselves
Crumbs Must Be Swept Up and Thrown Away
Drink Spills Must Be Cleaned Up and Custodians Must Be Notified
All Wrappers, and Disposable Containers Must Be Recycled or Thrown Away
In the Cans Present In the Lounge
All The Prestated Rules Apply To Students Also Eating Lunch In The Lounge
Damage
There Is To Be Absolutely NO Damage of ANY KIND To The
Walls
Lockers
Carpets
Bulletin Boards
Vending Machines
All Damage Must Be Reported To A Teacher or Administrator
Failure To Comply with These Rules Will Result in the Revocation of The
Privilege to Be In the Lounge For Any and All Seniors Responsible by
Teachers or Administrators
Appropriate Use of Bulletin Boards
All Postings On The Bulletin Boards Must Be School Appropriate And Follow
All School Rules
Nothing May Be Posted or Taken Down Without Permission From Teachers or
Administration
Nothing Obscene, Vulgar, Depicting Sex, Drugs, or Violence, May Be Posted
On The Bulletin Boards
Failure To Comply Will Result In Revocation of Privileges For All Seniors
Responsible Determined by Teacher or Administration
Who Is and Isnt Allowed?
All Seniors With Privileges May Be In The Lounge During Lunch Period
Only Seniors With Blue And Gold Cards Are Allowed To Be In The
Lounge During Free Period Class Time If Allowed By The Teacher And
Tutorial
Only Seniors With Gold Cards Are Allowed To Leave Campus With
Proper Permission From The Office
All Seniors Must Be Respectful and Courteous To All Staff and Faculty
Passing Through Or In The Lounge
Seniors Must Respect The Classes Going On Around Them And Remain Quiet
And Behaved
Failure To Comply Will Also Result In The Revocation Of Privileges As
Determined By Staff
Only Seniors With Blue Or Gold Cards May Be In The Lounge Unsupervised
PDA/ Physical Contact
Any And All PDA Displayed Within The Lounge Must Be In Accordance With
School Policy
HAND HOLDING ONLY!
All Physical Contact Between Students Must Be Non-Violent/Non-Aggressive
And Must Respect The Boundaries Of Both Parties Involved
Violence And Aggression Displayed To Anyone, Student or Faculty Is Strictly
Prohibited
Failure To Comply With This Rules Will Result In The Immediate Termination
Of All Privileges As Well As Additional Consequences Determined By Teacher
or Administration
Consequences
First Warning: A Single Warning That Will Not Be Repeated
Second Warning: Suspension of All Privileges For 1 Week
Third Warning: Possible Revocation of All Privileges For a Time Period
Determined by Administration As Well As Additional Consequences Given By
Administration
If There Has To Be A Fourth Warning To Any Senior, Regardless Of Their
Privileges, Access To The Senior Lounge Will Be Revoked And Must Be
Earned Back As Determined By Faculty
There Will Be NO Fifth Warning, All Access To The Senior Lounge And
Privileges Will Be Revoked For The Duration Of the Semester To Be
Reevaluated At The Beginning Of Next Semester
