A Resolution to Adopt and Appropriate the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget, Adopt the Calendar Year 2017 Tax
Rates, and Adopt the Fiscal Year 2018-2022 Capital Improvement Program
Topic Description:
The purpose of this agenda item is to adopt and appropriate the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget, adopt the
Calendar Year 2017 tax rates, and adopt the Fiscal Year 2018-2022 Capital Improvement Program. A
summary of the FY 2018 Proposed Budget and FY 2018-2022 Capital Improvement Program as presented
by the County Administrator on February 23, 2017, and revised by the Board of Supervisors at its
March 2017 budget work sessions is attached.
Requested Action:
Consider adoption of the attached Resolution.
Financial Impact Analysis:
As indicated. In compliance with the Board's policies, the draft resolution authorizes staff to re-appropriate
existing encumbrances, asset replacement projects, capital projects, certain volunteer fire and rescue
capital projects, reassessment funding, business incubator funding, and grants to Fiscal Year 2018.
