Know all men by these presents that we Calvin C Parks and Harriet his wife of the County of Oakland in
the Territory of Michigan in consideration of Six hundred Dollars to us paid by John E. Beardsley of of
[sic] the Town of Venice County of Cayuga State of New York the receipt whereof we do hereby
acknowledge do by these presents give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said John E. Beardsley
his heirs and assigns a certain parcel of Land Situate in the County of Lapier [Lapeer] in said Territory
bounded and described as follows viz: The East half of the North East quarter of Section thirty two in
Township Seven North of Range Twelve East in the District of Lands offered for Sale at Detroit
Territory of Michigan Containing Eighty acres

Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the said Land in any wise appertaining and
belonging To Have and to Hold the above granted premises to the said John E Beardsley his heirs and
assigns to his and their use and behoof forever and we the said Calvin C. Parks & Harriet his wife for our
heirs executors and administrators do covenant unto the said John E Beardsley his heirs and assigns that
we are lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises that they are free from all incumbrances that
we have good right to sell and convey the same to the said John E Beardsley as aforesaid and that we
will and our heirs executors and administrators shall Warrant and Defend forever against the lawful
demands of all persons In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this sixth day
of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty two

Oakland County } ss Be it remembered that on this sixth day of September in the Year of our
Lord 1832 personally appeared before me the undersigned a Notary Public for said County the within
named Calvin C. and Harriet Parks known to me to be the persons who executed the within Deed and
severally acknowledged that they executed the same for the purposes therein expressed At the same
time the said Harriet was examined by me separate and apart from her said husband who acknowledged
that she executed the same for the purposes in said deed expressed without fear or compulsion of her
said husband Given under my hand and seal the day and year above written
