Two Senior Salesforce Employees Join MADs Board After Life-Changing

Experience in Tanzania, Africa

Corporate volunteer trip to Tanzania, Africa encourages employees in the Silicon Valley to help
educate vulnerable and orphaned children.

San Francisco, CA, March 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Make A Difference (MAD) Now
(http://www.gomadnow.org), a not-for-profit organization that provides quality educational opportunities
for orphaned and vulnerable youth, has chosen two senior Salesforce employees to join its board.

Ashley Core has joined MAD's Board as Assistant Secretary. Alexa Eversole will be joining the
organization's Board of Advisors, helping with donor relations and marketing of the organization's
upcoming charity hikes up Kilimanjaro, Machu Picchu, Patagonia and the Base Camp of Everest to raise
money for scholarships for vulnerable and orphaned children.

Core is a Senior Recruiter for Salesforce and Eversole a Senior Manager of Executive Customer
Engagements. Both got involved in the organization through their companies volunteer time off program
which offered a chance to go to Tanzania and volunteer with the organization working on various projects
from building classrooms and a basketball court to offering English workshops and career training.

In 2013, I began my work with MAD through a Salesforce volunteer trip to Tanzania, Eversole said.
While there, I fell in love with 22 bright kids and the non-profit that supports them. I was so inspired by
my trip to Tanzania, that I continued my commitment by hiking Machu Picchu in August 2014, and
Patagonia in February 2016 to raise money for school fees for the children and the schools MAD
supports. I also help sponsor a child.

Core had a similar story. I decided to join MAD for a volunteer trip last November to Tanzania because I
had a lifelong dream of going to Africa to learn more about the people that live there, Core said. I
absolutely fell in love with Make A Difference's students during our time with them, and felt like I left a
piece of my heart behind as I went home. I returned and immediately accepted the challenge of joining
the Board and helping facilitate the relationship between MAD and Salesforce, so others can have the
same amazing experience as me.
