Conditional Chains

Students to choose one full conditional from above, for example If I were you, I
would study harder for the exam.

From this conditional, they must take it in turns to add another conditional following
from the last. For example:

o If I were you, I would study harder for the exam.

o If I studied harder for the exam, I would pass it.

o If I passed the exam, I would get into a good University.

o If I got into a good University, I would learn a lot.

o And so on.

This activity could be completed in teams (with perhaps the longest chain or first to
finish as the winner) in order to create a more competitive atmosphere, or it could be
conducted as a memory game with students having to remember each of their
partners conditionals before continuing the chain.
