SynthesisReaction(CombinationReaction)

Inasynthesisreaction,twoormoresubstancescombinetoformanew
compound.Thistypeof
reactionisrepresentedbythefollowingequation.

compoundastheproduct.

Aluminumand FormationofAluminumBromide:WhenAlisplacedonthe

anaqueoussolution
toformtwonewcompounds.Adoublereplacementreactioncanberepresentedby

Calcium Thismarblestatuehasbeenerodedbyacidrain.Marbleisa
