To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Angela Jones, science teacher at El Capitan High School, and I am writing a letter of
recommendation for Alejandro Lizarde with regard to career opportunities. I met Alejandro at the
beginning of his junior year as he was enrolled in Environmental Science with me. I would describe
him as being friendly, respectful, and hardworking.

Alejandro has worked hard during the last couple of years to ensure that he will earn his high school
diploma in June. When he is not at school, he enjoys playing a variety of sports with his family and
friends. He currently has a steady job and Alejandro also works with his father part-time, painting
houses. While he is not currently preparing for college immediately after graduation, Alejandro is
seeking other career opportunities until he decides his future educational pathway.

I recommend that you consider Alejandro Lizarde for all career opportunities he applies for. I believe
he embodies all the characteristics of what you are looking for in a well rounded and cultured student.
