Learning Experience: Art Activity- Tape Painting
I am organizing a child-directed learning experiment in which children
will have the opportunity to explore different designs with tape and
paint.
Objectives:
The children will further develop the skill of:
- (5.2 toddlers)- adapting holding from palmar or pincer grasp
Materials:
- Paper/Cardstock/ Construction paper
- Assorted paint colors
- Tape
Implementation:
- The materials will be set up for the children to explore.
- Invitations will be used to interest the children.
- Modelling and instructions will be used to show the children how
the learning experience works.
- The child will be able to make designs on the paper with tape.
- After, the child will paint over the tape, then peel it off to reveal
the design they have made.
