Administrative Rules

1. All the general members have to be the students of BRAC University


2. All the code of conduct outlined by BRAC University authorities is applicable for AIESEC BRACU
members as well
3. For any student to be a member of AIESEC a minimum CGPA of 2.5 is required
4. For any member to apply for Executive Body position a minimum CGPA of 2.7 is
required
5. If any existing members’ CGPA drops below the specified CGPA requirement that
member will be given one semester to improve the CGPA. After which if he/she still
doesn’t meet the CGPA criteria, his/her membership shall be cancelled. Same rule is
applicable for Executive Body member
6. All the members have to complete all the steps of recruitment procedure approved by AIESEC
7. All the approved members will be acknowledged by a letter of Appointment
8. Each and every member will have a job role in the LC
9. Any member missing consecutive 3 Local Meeting/Events (General Body Meeting, Department
meetings and local events) will be considered as probationary members and if they cannot give
satisfactory reasons to EB his/her membership will be cancelled
10. All members must attend at least 1 national/ international conference to maintain their
membership with AIESEC BRAC University within 1 year
11. If any member shows any behavior that hampers the image of BRAC University or AIESEC he/she
will be considered as a probationary member and if not proven otherwise his/her membership will
be cancelled
12. All the means of communication will be formal
13. To get the alumni status of AIESEC in BRAC University any member has to complete
at least 3 primary stages of AIESEC XP (I2A,TR,LR) and have completed at least 1
exchange or have been to at least 1 exchange, to be implied from the term 10-11.
14. Any student or individual if they use the name of AIESEC in BRAC University illegally (without the
permission of the EB or outside the code of conduct in case of Alumni status) will be handled
strictly and AIESEC will take stringent actions if necessary
15. Any member applying for Local Committee President position of the Executive Body
has to have at least 2 terms of consecutive AIESEC experience with LR qualification
and a minimum of 2 exchange completed.
16. Any member applying for Local Committee Vice President position of the Executive
Body has to have at least 1 term of AIESEC experience with full membership status
with LR qualification and a minimum of 1 exchange completed.
17. At the end of the term the new EB team shall be appointed through a LLM

Operational Rules
1. All secondary leadership positions will be decided by Application Procedure
2. EB has the full authority to change any secondary leadership positions providing they show
proper reasons
3. In absence of the LCP, the next person in charge will be LCVP Finance. In absence of
LCP & LCVP Finance, LCVPTM shall be the acting LCP; in absence of LCVPTM; any
other LCEB shall resume duty of LCP
4. 3 inconvenience shown by any secondary leader will be considered as failure to take responsibility
5. The AIESEC BRACU organizational hierarchy will be maintained strictly
6. The Executive Body has the final say in all decision making
7. Any member handling TN/EP forms are required to keep a log of all activities related to that form
and report to the responsible EB at all time; failure to do so at a regular basis will prompt for
stringent actions
8. Any member handling financial matters/ holding cash related to LC is required to report to VP
Finance; failure to do so at a regular basis will prompt for stringent actions
9. In every meeting (GBM, Department Meeting, EB meeting) notes/ output should be
documented which upon request can be delivered to the members.
10. Any member found to be using the brand of AIESEC improperly and without the consent of the
LCEB’s will face stringent actions
11. Any member wishing to work for the National Committee has to take prior consent from the LCVP
Talent Management through a letter of intent
12. All members are required to be registered member of MyAIESEC.net; Any other additional
communication groups are also mandatory
13. Any form of communication by the members over virtual groups (myaiesec.net forums, facebook
fanpage, googlegroups) that is considered uncalled for will be subject to severe action and
penalty.
14. LCEB suspension:
 MC reserves the right to put LCEB on probation
 LCP has the right to put any EB on probation with a written consent of MC
 Owing to lack of performance by the LCP, the LCEB (more than 50%) can officially
file complaint to the Local Plenary with consent of MC; upon investigation by the
Faculty Advisor and the MC, the LCP can be put on probation
 Once under probation any LCEB will be given a 4 weeks time to improve his/her
performance
 After completion of 4 weeks another investigation will be carried by the existing
EBs with consent of MC and the joint body will review the performance of the
probationary LCEB

 A satisfactory performance will lead to reinstatement of the LCEB
 If performance is dissatisfactory a report will be presented to the general body,
and with simple majority voting in a legislation LCEB can be fired

Code of Conduct
1. All members are required to respect the hierarchy of AIESEC in both LC and MC.
2. In occurrence of any conflicting issue, all members are required to consult with LC members and
LCEBs first. If that fails, then external entities are to be consulted. If found otherwise, the
membership will be cancelled straightaway, and stringent actions will be prompted from
university authorities.
3. Any member found harassing any other member (inside in any form is subject to assessment of
membership, and if not proven otherwise, the membership will be cancelled. VP TM and VP Fin
and LCP is responsible for these decisions
4. Any member found to be in conflict with executive body, without proper logic or proof, is subject
to severe membership assessment.
5. Any member found to be in conflict with BU Authorities, is subject to severe membership
assessment and outright expulsion
6. All members have right to voice opinion in any LC matters to any LCEB during general meetings,
and department meetings, and through formal communication
7. Any member found to be at discord with other students of BRACU, regardless of issue, is subject
to consultation and assessment.
8. Any member found to spreading bad word of mouth about the organization to external entities, if
not proven otherwise, will subject to expulsion.
9. Trainees, TN Takers, and other partners are valuable business entities. Any complaints from
them, if not proven otherwise will lead to outright expulsion.
10. The Executive Body is obligated to publish a performance report to the general body
at the end of every semester.
11. For conference and meeting purposes:
a. Members are required to follow the guidelines of executive bodies/head delegate at all
time.
b. Any improper conduct found during national and international conferences, will lead to
severe membership assessment, that may lead to expulsion
c. Improper conduct contains any improper behavior towards opposite sex, abuse of alcohol
and substance, misrepresentation of BRAC University and overall misrepresentation of
AIESEC.
d. All members are required to attend the mandatory conferences outlined by the MC and
LCEB.
