ANNOUNCEMENT
Sub: Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Online Test
conducted by IBPS, Mumbai on 26.02.2017 Display of the names of the candidates
shortlisted for Interview and / or Group Discussion.

Attention of all the concerned is drawn to our Advertisement No.
PD:HRDD:REC:PGDBF:526/2016 dated 05.12.2016 displayed in the Banks website
www.syndicatebank.in inviting applications from the eligible candidates for admission to 1 year
Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course offered through M/s Manipal Global
Education Services Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore (MaGE) and Nitte Education International Pvt. Ltd.
Greater Noida /Mangalore(NEIPL).

The Roll Number-wise names of the candidates shortlisted for Interview and/ or Group Discussion
based on the Online Test conducted on 26.02.2017 are furnished in the Annexure. The list is
purely provisional, subject to verification of all the details furnished by the applicants in their online
application.

The list is NEITHER a list of candidates selected for appointment in the Bank NOR there is any
commitment on the part of the Bank to offer appointment to the candidates. This is only a list of
candidates who are shortlisted for interview for selection of candidates for admission to one year
Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course offered through M/s Manipal Global
Education Services Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore (MaGE) and Nitte Education International Pvt. Ltd.
Greater Noida /Mangalore(NEIPL).

The Interview and/or Group Discussion will be conducted tentatively during the 3rd week of
April 2017. The exact date of the interview and / or Group Discussion will be announced in
the Banks website and Individual call letters of shortlisted candidates containing the
details of venue, date and time will be made available for download in the Banks website.
No correspondence or telephonic queries in this regard will be entertained

At the time of interview, the candidates are required to bring all the certificates/documents
in original in proof of qualification, experience, date of birth, category as per Central
Government format (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) for verification along with one set of photocopy of
each of the document.
The graduation percentage and class will be calculated as per the University norms for calculation of
percentage and declaration of class/results. The graduation percentage/class as appearing in the
Final Year/semester/ consolidated mark-sheet & Provisional/Degree Certificate will be taken into
consideration for eligibility. In case the graduation percentage/class is not clearly mentioned in the
mark-sheet/certificate, the candidate has to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority
of University/Institute indicating graduation percentage/ class as per the University norms for
awarding degree.
Where CGPA / OGPA is awarded, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the
appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade
into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.

Please note that, the candidates who come for the Interview and / or Group Discussion
without the documents/certificates or found ineligible at the time of verification of the
documents, shall not be allowed for further selection process.
Candidates whose names are not found in the enclosed list are requested to treat this as an
individual intimation that, they have not been shortlisted for Interview and /or Group Discussion
and no further correspondence or telephonic queries will be entertained. Decision of the Bank in
all matters pertaining to selection process shall be final and binding.

Disclaimer: Though utmost care has been taken while preparing the list of short listed
candidates, Bank reserves the right to rectify inadvertent errors, if any, found
subsequently.
