The following tests have been carried out on each transformer above mentioned:

Measurement of voltage ratio and check of phase displacement (ITP item 3.4)
This test has been carried out using a potentiometer method and by measuring the ratio
between the vector of voltage applied to primary winding and the induced voltage vector in
the other winding.
Test has been repeated for all taps position and all values were within the requirement (
0,5% of rated ratio).
The phase displacement has been checked at the same time and the vector group YNd1
has been confirmed.
Result: Satisfactory
Measurement of short circuit impedance and load loss (ITP item 3.5)
The test has been carried out by applying to the primary winding a 3-phase voltage in order
to obtain a current > 50% In.
The voltage, current and absorbed power have been recorded during the test and after
reported to rated current.
The load loss detected have been found within the acceptable limit
The Vcc% measured was lower than the acceptance limit

Temperature rise test (ITP item 4.1 Type Test) (performed only on transformer s/n 34529)
This test has been performed powering the primary of the transformer with the secondary winding
short circuited.
Before to start with the test the resistance of the windings at cold condition have been taken.
Following the test has been performed in two steps:
1) the transformer has been subjected to a test voltage such that the measured active power was
equal to the total losses of transformer. This phase continued till the oil temperature reached the
steady state (oil temperature rise below 1 C in 1 h and remained there for a period of 3 h).
2) immediately after the first step the test continued reducing the current to the rated value. This
condition have been maintained for 1 h and at the end the resistance of the winding have been
measured in order to plot the variation
The oil temperatures have been recorded continuously during the test.
The values of winding temperature has been calculated taking as reference the resistance
measurement at cold and hot conditions.
Winding temperatures have been found within the allowed limit.
Result: Satisfactory
Insulation Resistance measurement to earth of core and wdgs (ITP item 4.2 Type Test) (performed
only on transformer s/n 34529)
This test has been performed supplying at a voltage of 5000 Vdc each winding and the earth, while
the other windings have been connected to earth. The resistance readings at 15s and 60s have
been taken and stated in the report
Result: Satisfactory
Determination of sound level (ITP item 4.3 Type Test) (performed only on transformer s/n 34529)
This test has been performed measuring the background noise around the unpowered transformer
at the beginning and end of the test. Then the transformer has been supplied at the nominal
condition (in the nominal load condition) and noise level in the pressure at 1m. Then the correct
amount of acoustic intensity has been calculated and found within the allowed limit.
Result: Satisfactory
Measurement of zero sequence impedance (ITP item 4.4 Type Test) (performed only on
transformer s/n 34529)
The measurement has been carried out by supplying a current of rated frequency (50 Hz) between
the parallel connected phase terminals and the neutral terminal. The zero-sequence impedance per

phase is three times the impedance measured in this way.
Result: Satisfactory
Point 2: some components installed have spurts painting comes from air spray painting after
So only point 1 still remain open and will be closed by Newton on site.
