The current tray sealer
Hz AmeriPak Model 245 has been providing years of
service at SBCUSD and although it is mostly efficient, it has been deemed
somewhat unreliable. Thus, looking for a new product that will fill in the
missing components of the current tray sealer will not only increase
production and efficiency but will save the school district any financial worry
in the long run. AmeriPak has upgraded the model 245 tray sealer to the 60
series (TD60M). It features tool-free quick change tray pallets to reduce set
up time, making it ideal for multiple product usage. However, looking at the
spec comparisons between the two models, there is no significant difference
so committing to an entire different model might not be feasible. Other future
considerations that would further product life and maintenance is to add a
spring to the plate end clamp part for the current model. Doing so would
