Week 1

In the first day in my teaching practice, I introduced myself to the principal and the
teacher. After that, I observed the teacher and the students during the school day. Through
the observation, I noticed that my MST had good strategies to manage students' behavior
and to check their understanding. For example: if she wants to check students'
understanding she asks them if the understand the will do thump up if not they will do
thump down. Before the teacher asked the students about what they did in the weekend
she reminded the students about the rules. For example, she said you should listen when
your friend talk. So I like that when she doesn't ignore her rules and she wants the students
to follow her rules. Compared with my previous teachers that I did my teaching practices
with them most of them ignored their rules.
When they have Arabic subject I set with my MST to talk about what I will do during
my teaching practice.

In the second day in my Teaching practice, I identified more about school routine.
The students start their day by play in the playground. Then they go to the assembly area
to sing the national anthem and their school song (Wesgreen school song). After that they
go to the bathroom to wash their hands then they go to the class to start the lessons. After
the students finished their lessons, they went to the playground to play. After 20 minutes,
the students go back to class then the teacher asks them to wash their hands and eat their
lunch. After that, they complete their lessons. When they finished their lessons the teacher
take the students who go their house by bus to the gym which is a bus station in the same
time. The rest of students stay with the assistant and they waiting for their parents
to take them.
On this day I went to observe the students while they have PE because in the TP
booklet there is a point about observing the students when they have another subject with
specialists teacher.
In this day, I noticed that teacher have a good translation between the activities.
She claps three times and the students rise their hands after that they clean the table
quickly then they switch between their friends.

In first class in my third day in my TP, the students went to the library then the
teacher read two stories for them. After that, she asked them to choose any story to take
it to the home. Then they went to the playground to play. After that, they went back to the
classroom to eat their lunch. Then, my MST reviewed the letters for the students. After
that, she read for them one of Julia Donaldsons stories.
On this day I learned about how to teach the students about fantasy or reality. Also,
I learned the strategies of reading a story for the students.

In the last day in the first day, my MST have peer observation so Miss Salli came to
class to observe my MST. She taught the students new digraph which was ng. After the
lesson, the students went to the playground to play. In the math lesson, the teacher taught
the students about sphere then she gave them different activities. In the last lesson, I read
for the students a story which was the gingerbread man.
On this day, I learned how to teach students a digraph. Also, I learned more about
the importance of using reward system and how to use it.
Week 2

In the first day of my second week in TP, my MST was absentsed last Thursday so she needs
to do her work which is assess students when they read in the first lesson. As a result of that, she
makes different activities for the groups. One of these groups did a reading activity and my MST
assessed them. After that, the students went to the playground to play. My MST asked the students
about what they did in the last weekend. I like this lesson because all students were talking about
their experience. After this lesson, the students had Arabic and IT lesson after that they had math.
In the end of the school day, I set with my MST to give me advice for my first lesson that I will teach
it tomorrow.

In the second day, my MCT came to observe me when I teach a math lesson. After
the lesson, I had a meeting with my MCT. She gave me feedbacks about the strength and
weakness area in my lesson. I think that my lesson was successful but I have to focus on
my weakness areas. I think the main reason of the weakness areas was that I felt tired. I
hope that next lessons will be better than this day.

In the third day, I helped my MST to organize students when they practiced for the
production which will be at the end of March. After that, I taught the student topic lesson
which was Julia Donaldsons story. This story was Monkey puzzle story. In the end of school
day, I set with my MST to decide about what I will teach next week.

In the last day of my TP, my MST taught the students about the tints and shades.
So they did activity for this lesson. They made ice cream and the colour of the scoops start
from darkest to lightest to represent the tints and shades. After they have finished their
break I taught them a literacy lesson. This lesson about ch digraph. I gave them different
activities. After the students have finished their school day they went home.
Week 3

In the first day of my third week. My MST told me that they change the songs and
the story which the students will do in the production so she teaches them the new song.
In the second lesson, I taught the students tricky words. After that, the students went to
the playground because they have play time. After they have finished the play time and
their lunch, they have to tell story about what they did during the weekend. After that my
MST practiced the production songs with the students. After the students have finished
their school day they went home.

In the second day of my third day at Wesgreen School, My MST taught the students
about th digraph in the first two periods. Then I taught the students about missing number.
After that, the students practiced for the production with the Kg T students. Before they
go to their home they did a Birthday party for Zayed.

In the third day, MST told me that they will not teach in this day because they need
to practice for the production. After the assembly, the students went with my MST to KG2R
to practice for the production with them. Then I discussed with my MST about what I will
teach next week. Then

In the last day in my third week at the school. The students went to stage to practice
for the production with KG 2R. Then the head of both Wesgreen schools observed them
while they did the production practice. After that my MST taught the students about
addition. She gave them activities which helped them to understand the lesson. Two girls
fought so my MST tried to solve the problem so she asked them to say sorry and hug each
other. I think she has a good strategy to enhance students social skills.

Week 4

In the first day in the fourth day of my TP, my MST practiced production with the
students in the first class. Then my MCT came to observed my while I taught students
literacy lesson. Then I sit with my MCT and she gave me feedback about my lesson. After
that my MST asked students about what they did during the weekend. Then they wrote a
sentence and draw a picture in the news book.
In the second day in my TP, the teacher started the day by taking the registration
then took a lesson in literacy about the sound (th) for two classes. After that they went to
the gym to practice for the production until the fifth period, in the math class I taught
them about 3D shape (Cone). I did different activities to explain the lesson and make it
easy for the students to understand and develop their math skills. But I didnt complete
my lesson because the students went to the gym to practice. By the end of the day, I had
a meeting with my MST to take the lessons I will teach during the week.

In the third day of my TP, the teacher took the registration then she asked
students to go to K2R to practice with them. They took 2 hours for the practice so my
class canceled. In the sixth period, I asked my MST if I can read a story for the students
she agreed so I read story for them about Conker and Nudge.

On Wednesday, the tailor brought the costumes so the students wear it to see if it
good or not. Due to KG 1 will do their production, the KG2 students went to the stage to
practice for the production until the sixth period. After that, MST taught students reading
activity.

Week 5:
In the first day in my last week in my TP, MST didnt teach students any lesson
because they need to practice for the production. So the students wear their costume
and they went to the stage to practice,
On Monday, KG2 students have production. So, I helped students when they
change their clothes and wear the costume. During the production, I helped my MST to
organize the students behind the stage. It was an amazing production and I enjoyed it.
In the third day in my TP, my MST started the day by taking the registration then
read two stories for the students in the library, after that she taught them a math lesson.
Before they go to their home they celebrate because they finished the production.
In the last day in my last week at the school, MST taught the students topic about
one o of Julia Donaldsons stories. Then she gave them activities to do. In math lesson, I
recap with the students about 3D shapes. In the end of the school day, my MST gave me
some students works that they did for me and I felt happy and sad at the same time.
