Nixon's foreign policy was trying to keep America out of wars with diplomacy which is how
most nations should treat their foreign policy. Nixon was successful in taking America out of
Vietnam with this
LESSON #5
BR: Yes, we should negotiate with the foreign countries that are holding American hostages.
We need to negotiate with these other nations because that is the only way that we can get our
troops back peacefully
BR #2: I do not agree with Reagan's domestic and foreign policies. I do not agree with
Reagan's domestic policy because it is just going to make the rich richer and the poor poorer
instead of helping the economy. His foreign policy I do not agree with is because he is
sticking his nose into other countries business and he refused to negotiate to get American
lives back. These did not work as he spent too much on military. The economy under Reagan
was bad because of these things.

BR #2: Of the Bush and Obama administrations, the most effective is the Obama
administration. Obama was able to end the national recession and get America out of two
wars. The Bush administration only managed to put America in two wars which hurt the
Devon Coker-Page 24
economy. Obama pulled America mostly out of the hole that Bush put the nation is. This is
why the Obama administration was more affected in America than the Bush administration
for America.
