Kamdhenu Limited taken stringent action against unauthorized

use of KAMDHENU Trade Mark on TMT bar in Patna, Bihar

Kamdhenu Limited, one of the frontrunner companies of India in steel and Paint segment is
engaged in the manufacturing, marketing branding and distribution of KAMDHENU Brand
products. The Company is committed to provide quality product to the ultimate consumers
at reasonable price through its various channel partners including dealers, distributors and
franchisee associates.

The Company always takes stringent action against the persons involved in creating
confusion in the market and public at large by introducing their product with deceptively
similar names of KAMDHENU. Recently, the Company come across the SUPER
KAMDHENU TMT being manufactured and marketed by M/s Platinum Ispat Industries
Private Limited, Patna, Bihar.

The Company approached Honble court at New Delhi to protect its registered trademark
KAMDHENU and Honble court accepted the plea of the Company and passed necessary
order restraining M/s Platinum Ispat Industries Private Limited, Patna, Bihar, from using
SUPER KAMDHENU and MAHAN KAMDHENU. The court also appointed local
commissioners to inspect and seize the materials of SUPER KAMDHENU and MAHAN
KAMDHENU.

On the direction of Honble Court at New Delhi, local commissioner executed its order and
seized the SUPER KAMDHENU TMT bar already registered in the name of Kamdhenu
Limited. By virtue of Court order, M/s Platinum Ispat Industries Private Limited alongwith its
employees, associates, agents, distributors, stockiests, franchisees and representatives
and any other acting for and on their behalf are hereby restrained from using, selling,
soliciting, exporting, displaying, advertising SUPER KAMDHENU and MAHAN
KAMDHENU in relation to TMT bars, common metal and other allied goods which are
identical/deceptively similar to trade mark/level KAMDHENU. Tons of materials were
seized in the plant of M/s Platinum Ispat Industries Private Limited, Patna, Bihar by the local
commissioners appointed by the Honble court.
