STUDENT RESPONSE AND ASSESSMENT TOOLS
Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS activity:
I would use this student response tool as an assessment at the end of the lesson over this material.
First thing will be for the teacher to teach the material by using books, examples, and online resources. This
material could take a few days to over before the students have a true understanding of the material.
To complete the assessment, the students will need some kind of device that has an internet
connection. If there was enough iPads or mobile devices it can be completed in the classroom. The teacher
can start this activity at the beginning of the lesson to get them to transition to the next subject. The teacher
can get feedback from the program and use and information to see what students need more time to get a
better understanding of the material and what students understand that material.

Types of questions/prompts (Check all that apply):
Multiple choice Multiple Select True/False Yes/No Short open-ended response
or fill in the blank Longer open-ended response
Provide samples of questions/prompts to be given to students:
What is the national Anthem?
A)If Youre Happy and You Know It
B) Star Spangled Banner
C) Pledge of Allegiance
Right/Wrong Answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions? Yes No
Mixed (Some will have correct answers, others will not.)
Immediate corrective feedback:
Will you pre-select correct answers to some or all of the questions and display correct response to the class
after the SRS activity? Yes No
Why or why not? I want the students to be able to know the answer right way so they can learn from the
question if they got it right
Use of data: I would use this data as a way to look at how the students are doing and how well they
understand the material. The data would be used just for the teacher resource. It would be a way to see if we
can move on to the next standard or spend more time on this standard. If there was a student that has been
struggling over the past few lesson then the teacher can look into way to help the student and maybe get the
parent involve helping at home.
Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: After the SRS, I would take a second to look at the
results and see if we can move on or not. If they understand the material, we would continue to work on the
next standard that goes with the past standard.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity: I would learn about the students and how
much they like or dislike this tool. I would be able to edit and change for the next time I use this tool
in the classroom. I would also be about to understand how the student doing with this material.
