Applicable Note 5 :

Manganese content shall be 0.80 % to 1.2 % by heat analysis for thicknesses greater than 20 mm, except
that for each reduction of 0.01 % below the specified carbon maximum, an increase of 0.06 %
manganese above the specified maximum will be permitted up to the maximum of 1.35 %. Thicknesses
20 mm shall have a manganese content of 0.80 % to 1.2 % by heat analysis.
