COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Class time and attendance: Class meets on Wednesday 6:00 PM to 8:50 PM. Class attendance is
necessary and required. In addition to lectures, in-class discussions, and sample problem solving,
important announcements are made in class. This course is taught as an evolving living course
that encourages participation and feedback of students. The instructor will adjust the pace of
teaching to accommodate student performance and feedback. During the term, the content of class
discussions, lectures and homework assignments may be adjusted to address the feedbacks from,
and tailor to the level of performance of, our students.
Homework Assignments: Completing the homework assignments is an excellent way to gain hands-
on skills to solve problems. Solutions to the homework assignments will be made available to
students. Homework assignments will not be collected.
Class Projects: There will be short Class Projects and/or Group Projects assigned during the term
reflecting the topics taught in class. The timing and weight of each project will be announced in class.
