Introduction
Vitelity provides high quality SIP trunks that can be configured within the Elastix interface. In this
document youll learn how to perform the required configurations to get started making phone
calls in little time.
Getting started
Before setting up your trunk please make sure to gather the following information assigned to
you by Vitelity:
Username
Password
DID
SIP inbound server (See the Support page of your Vitelity portal under Basic SIP
credentials)
Accessing Elastix
In order to access the Elastix interface, you must direct your browser to http://<ELASTIX
SERVER IP ADDRESS>. At the login prompt you must supply the admin credentials (default is
admin/palosanto). You should now be presented with the complete Elastix control interface.
Vitelity recommends the use of the SIP protocol as IAX2 is not currently supported.
SIP configuration
In the Elastix interface locate and click through the menus to:
Please proceed by entering the information as provided below and replacing the red items with
the information from Vitelity.

Register String:
The picture below shows the details of the parameters to be filled into the form.
Finalize the configuration of the trunk by clicking on the Submit button. Do not forget to click on
the pink line at the top that reads Apply Configuration Changes Here for the changes to take
effect. See the picture below for an example.
Outgoing route
In order to place calls through your Vitelity trunk you must now configure an outgoing route.
Direct your browser to the following menu on the Elastix interface:
