Backwater occurs
again and again.
Many builders and home owners are at risk of backwater damage. Property
and asset damage due to backwater and ooding has never been greater
than it is today. In addition, municipalities and insurance companies do not
accept any responsibility and are not liable in case of damage. Yet protection
against backwater can be achieved very easily and effectively with the
original Staux backwater valve.

During heavy rain, the water level rises above
the so-called backwater level. This term is
usually used to mean street level. Rooms in the
basement or cellar quickly become ooded. The
consequences are substantial damage and costs.
backwater protection
Wastewater that ows by gravity to the sewer
is secured by a backwater valve. In the event of
backwater the ap closes so that wastewater
cannot penetrate the house.
If the public sewer is higher than the drainage
point in the building, the wastewater must be
pumped upwards, for example, via a KESSEL
Aqualift lifting station.

three different telescopic extension sec-
tions and can thus be exibly installed at
all depths. A standard extension section,

adjustable upper section, installing the Staux in
the concrete slab/oor is particularly clean and
convenient. Three different extension sections
ensure additional exibility for the installation.

with alarm.
Backwater protection even smarter.

Staux Control.
The new Staux Control is particularly smart.
It is equipped with an audible alarm, which emits
a visual and an acoustic warning signal in the
event of backwater. This means that home owners
are in full control and always know what is
happening in the basement.

Upgradable.
The new Staux can also be upgraded to the
new Staux Control by adding the lockable
Control cover (with radio-based audible alarm).

Functions.
Standard: Radio-based audible alarm in
the Staux Control for visual and acoustic
warning signal.
Optional: Additional radio-based audible
alarm for visual and acoustic warning in
the living area.
Optional: Radio receiver as switched socket
in the event of backwater, for example
a switched on washing machine is automat-
ically disconnected from the mains.
