Overall Task: You are going to create a childrens story! Now that we have learned about all
the elements of a plot, you are going to apply your skills in a creative, unique way. You will
follow the steps below, and then you will use Book Press or an app of your choice (teacher
approved) to put together your story! We will share these stories with a third grade class at
Union Ridge School.

Step seven: Climax: Have an obvious climax where the main character has made some sort of
decision that affects his or her situation. It is at this point in the story that the main
character has to deal with the main conflict in the story and tries to solve it.
