(ITB Requirements; Technical specifications & Drawings)

Design & Construction of Self Supporting Telecommunication Tower with related


infrastructure works at Jenin, oPt.

85 meters Self Supporting Tower

1. Tower location is in Jenin area, Buerqeen village, al Shakh Saba mount, near water tank as
below coordinates.

2. The requested steel structure telecommunications self-supported anchor bolt towers must meets
and comply with all relevant international standards including but not limited to EIA/TIA-222-G.

3. Tower shall be designed by or under the direct supervision of a registered professional engineer,
specifically experienced in the design of Radio and Microwave towers. All design and analysis
computations and installation drawings shall be prepared by qualified professional design
engineers; designs shall be signed and approved by recognized, formally registered firm/entity.

4. The Contractor shall provide a quality control measures that will ensure the engineering,
fabrication, erection and relevant activities meet the requirements of this specification.

5. The contractor shall provide safety measures that will be used during project implementation to
ensure safety and protection of working staff and nearby citizens.

6. Required towers shall be of triangular footprints, tubular, galvanized, of self-supporting type and
require low maintenance; low maintenance in general is a periodical inspection of checking the
tower and antenna bolts, safety ladder, Cable Bridge, pressurization equipment, weatherproofing,
lighting, grounding and foundation.

7. Required tower shall be designed as one series from the manufacturer, mixing section from
several series not allowed.
8. Last top three sections should be straight dimensions at minimum 135cm legs spread and have
enough space for internal ladder, cable ladder and climber technicians.

9. Contractor is required to provide with proposal documents complete plans and drawings which
summarize the tower components and foundation specifications, Engineering analysis, or other
documentation showing the necessary marking and details for the proper assembly and
installation of the material including the design yield strength of the structural members and the
grade of structural bolts which to be used.

10. All the elements to be used in this project must be designed to work in tower environment and
comply with all relevant international specifications, getting wend rose map for the tower location
is contractor responsibility, the tower will be erected in Jenin at ground level of Long "
3516'9.02"E,Lat : 3227'23.00"N coordinates.
11. Manufacturer is required to provide a signed compliance list of related items of this project,
contractor shall indorse the compliance list and fill in related items in compliance list, the
compliance list will be considered as a vital part of project documents.

12. The life cycle of the towers shall be 30 years minimum.

Tower Skeleton

1. 85 meters triangular footprints self-supported anchor bolt steel structured towers.

2. All hardware must be hot-dip galvanized to a thickness not less than 100 micro meters.

3. Wind load, the towers shall be designed for an operational wind speed of 90mph

4. Tower loading:
Towers shall be designed for the following loads.
a. At top flash light kit and arrestor kit
b. 3 Vertical Omni directional UHF Antennas at elevation 85meters
c. 3 Vertical Omni directional UHF Antennas at elevation 80meters
d. Two 4ft solid dish, at elevation 57meters.
e. Four 2ft solid dish at elevation 35 and 23 meters, two at each.
f. Six 1ft solid dish at elevation 40, 32,26,20,18 and 15 meters.
g. 7/8 and feeders, whole long cable ladder, total Qty 6 and 24.

5. Snow/Ice load, the tower shall be designed for a minimum thickness of solid radial ice 1.3 cm
and 0.7 gm/cc of density , as defined in EIA/TIA-222. Ice shall be included on the tower structure,
antennas, appurtenances, and waveguides and transmission lines.

6. Tower sections shall be of bolted construction to permit in-service replacement of members. Shop
welding shall be kept to a minimum and field welding is not permitted.

7. Twist and sway angle permitted shall be less than 0.5 degree.

8. Sway upon Microwave requirements of the line of sight (Microwave Radio Frequencies to be
used are from 6 GHz to 32 GHz).

9. Connections shall be detailed and designed to minimize stresses attributable to eccentricity.

10. All members and connections shall be selected and detailed to allow easy inspection of all
surfaces and for ease in applying corrosion prevention materials. Proper drainage of all moisture
and condensation shall be provided for all members.

11. All towers steel, accessories and fasteners shall have been manufactured in one of these
countries USA, Canada, European Union, Japan and Turkey. Certificates of origin shall be
provided to PCP as an essential part of the proposal.
12. Bolts use in any calculated load carrying connection shall be a high strength bolt not less than 1.6
cm in diameter. High strength bolts confirming to relevant international standards (e.g. ASTM A-
325 or A-449) shall be used in all calculated load carrying connections. All threaded fasteners
shall be of adequate length that a minimum of two threads shall protrude beyond the nut or
locking device when the nut is properly tensioned.

13. The minimum thickness of any fabricated steel part shall be 3 mm.

14. Space of 3 mm or greater between parallel or crossing members shall be filled with single
thickness plates or ring fills. Stacked washers shall not be used for any reason for this purpose.

15. Hardened flat washers shall be provided for all oversized of slotted holes.

16. Anchor bolts shall be designed such that their projection above the concrete allows for one
leveling nut below and two full-sized nuts above the base plate of the tower.

17. Tower panted with white and Orange Acrylic Latex comply to country standard codes

Tower Accessories

All pertinent requirements of above sections of this specification are applicable to the towers accessories
listed in this section.

Climbing ladder

1. Provisions shall be made and all material pervaded for the installation of an internal climbing
ladder from the base to the tower top. The rung width shall be at least 40.0 cm with the step
diameter being a minimum of 1.6 cm, the maximum adjacent rung spacing shall be 40.0 cm.
The step spacing shall be uniform throughout the ladder length.
2. On three legs outer climbing bolt step ladder should be supplied, bolt step base should be
designed and attached in tower legs during fabrication stage. The maximum adjacent rung
spacing shall be 40.0 cm between both leg sides.
3. Climbing ladder and climbing devices shall provide protection against slipping and/or falling of
climber.
4. One Safety Climbing Device with full body harness should be supplied

Waveguide support

1. Waveguide Ladder, Provisions shall be made and all material pervaded for the installation of an
internal waveguide ladder from the base to tower top. These ladders shall provide secure
support coax runs for at least 10 runs of coax along the tower length. The ladders have 0.9 to
1.2 meters rung spacing and to be installed on right braces side of climbing ladder.
2. Waveguide Bridge shall provide support and protection of waveguide runs (10 runs) between
the tower and equipment shelter (tower and shelter are 5 to 12 meters apart).
3. Waveguide support structures shall be grounded in accordance with the tower grounding
specification.
Tower lighting
1. Obstruction lighting systems shall be supplied with the towers and installed per ICAO
specification.
a. One(1) 300 mm heavy duty flashing beacon at the top
b. Three(3) OB1 double obstruction lights at midlevel
c. Flashers flashing rate of approximately 30 per minute
d. Photoelectric lighting controls
2. All necessary wiring and conduit for installation
3. All wiring from tower top till control board should be inside cast aluminum pipes and
Junction boxes with a cover, neoprene sealing gasket, stainless steel safety cable.
4. A solid-state electronic device equipped with a photoelectric cell that turns tower lights on
and off automatically and provide alarms indicating beacon or/and power failure.
5. Obstruction lighting system shall provide NO and NC alarm contacts.
6. Contractor shall submit schematic, installation drawing and specifications of the obstruction
light system he is providing.

Antennas and dishes side mounted arms.

The contractor should supply and install the following antennas and dishes side arms at specific antenna
loads heights and quantities as mentioned under tower load section, design of these mount arms should
meets tower design and fabrications requirements. These mount arms should be attached to the tower
via slop adjust adapters and U Bolts attachments, two U bolts are required for each mount arm end.
1. Six 1.8 meters side Arms for omni antennas as below design

2. Six 4 inch, 1 meters plus six 0.5 meters dish side arms with slop adjust as below design
Grounding and lightning protection
1. Towers shall have a complete grounding system which conforms to the minimum
requirements of EIA RS-222-G, "Protective Grounding." Tower grounding system should also
be completely separated from lighting rod grounding system; the connection between two
systems should be made inside grounding main hall via buried copper plate with enough
Briquette and Salt.
2. The grounding system of tower shall achieve a resistance to earth less than 5 ohm.
3. The grounding system of tower will be interconnected with shelter grounding system to
provide a common ground potential to the communications site. This shall include Fence,
generator, electric service and antenna system ground.
4. The grounding system may consist of, but is not limited to, the following components:
a. Tower and site ground ring
b. Ground radials
c. Pulsar 90, Surge Arrestor Rod.
d. Isolated flexible, yellow Earth Cable, 120mm2.
e. Non isolated earth cable, 70mm2 from tower tope till site grounding system
f. Grounding electrodes around site fence, two each side pule 2 electrodes for door
wings
g. Tower ground bus bar
h. Shelter External and Internal ground bus bar
5. Tower ground ring shall be buried and encircles the tower structure and provide a means of
bonding ground rods together and bonding other grounding electrode system components
together and with main hall component.
6. The tower ground bus bar shall be an integral part of the tower construction or vertical
waveguide ladder it should be large enough to accommodate all coaxial cable connections
and connection to the grounding electrode system. The tower ground bus bar shall be
physically and electrically connected to the tower, it shall be installed below the transmission
line ground kits, near the area of the tower at the point where the antenna transmission lines
transition from the tower to the shelter.
7. External ground bus bar shall be installed at the point where the antenna transmission lines
enter the building, and shall be connected to the external ground ring using the straightest
possible downward run of 35 mm2 csa (#2 AWG) or larger bare solid or stranded tinned
copper conductor, it should be large enough to accommodate all coaxial connections and
connection to the grounding electrode system.
8. Each leg of the towers shall be bonded to the tower ground ring using grounding conductors
of 35 mm2 csa (#2 AWG) minimum, bare tinned solid or stranded galvanized copper
conductor.
9. Tower grounding system shall be connected to shelter ground.
10. Exothermically welding shall be used for connecting grounding system elements, other
methods of connection shall not be used.
11. Each tower must be equipped with a lightning rod fastened at the extreme top of the tower,
the lightning rod shall be made of galvanized steel pulsar 90 or equivalent, shall be attached
so as to extend a minimum of 45 cm above the highest point of the tower, isolated 120mm
flexible cables should be connected to surge arrestor and main hall copper plate separately
without any connection with tower grounding system or bus bar system including all
attachments. Four .25 square meters with 1cm thick plate required for grounding main hall.

CIVIL WORKS

SITE ACCESSIBILITY:
The site is accessible through unpaved road, site survey is mandatory to assess the site
accessibility.

EXCAVATION
1. All excavation works shall conform to Jordanian code.
2. The contractor shall assure that each foundation excavation is accurately located, sized and
plumbed as requested by base design and final soil test excavation recommendations.
3. All topsoil shall be separately removed and stockpiled for later use in the final Back-filling
process. No waste from excavations shall be spread on the property without the approval of
the PCP. Excavated material, unsuitable or not required for Back-filling shall be removed
from the site and disposed of by the Contractor in local authorities specified dump areas.
4. Any excavation that must be left open overnight shall be adequately barricaded or covered to
prevent children or animals from falling into them. Site security full contractor responsibility.
5. Site security, guard and insurance during construction period till hand over day full contractor
responsibility.

FOUNDATION
1. All materials, cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water and admixtures shall conform
to Jordanian codes.
2. Foundation designs shall be based upon the soil characteristics and parameters listed in the
site geotechnical report.
3. Base Engineering Design to comply 180% of tower reactions.
4. Initial base design should be submitted with proposal documents, it should comply to point 3
above, based on 6.5Kg/cm^2 capacity bearing and 2.5 meters excavation requirements.
5. Foundation shall be designed for 180% of maximum structure reactions resulting from the
specific loads.
6. Foundation drawings shall indicate structure reactions, material strengths, dimensions,
reinforcing steel and embedded anchorage material type, size and location.
7. Foundation shall use ready-mix concrete, concrete shall conform to standards and codes
adopted in Palestine.
8. For the bearing capacity test three samples should be taken in a triangular shape and should
cover the whole footprint of the tower.
9. Foundation should be isolated and cladded with cold essfalt and isolation materials from all
side before and backfilling for any part of tower base.
10. The contractor shall submit a detailed report of material specifications used in Concrete Mix
Design.
11. To ensure uniform production of concrete, representative samples will be taken at the request
of and under the supervision of the PCP engineer and contractor assigned engineer for the
purpose of making cubes for strength tests. All tests shall conform to standards and codes
adopted in Palestine.
12. In case the concrete placed by the contractor is determined, by testing, to be defective in any
way, the contractor shall be responsible and at his expense for one of the following courses
of action which shall be determined by PCP;
a. The removal and replacement of all defective concrete.
b. The cost of design and construction changes necessary to incorporate the
inferior concrete.
13. All reinforcement shall conform to Jordanian codes. All reinforcement (cages, anchor bolts,
anchor rods, etc.) shall be accurately positioned and secured while concrete is being poured
and vibrated. Exposed portions of anchor bolts shall be coated with tape or heavy grease
prior to pouring concrete. The contractor shall supply all bar supports, ties, spacers and other
materials required to keep the reinforcing in its proper position.
14. The portion of concrete surfaces exposed above grade shall be fair faced concrete.

BACKFILL

1. All backfill works shall conform to relevant Jordanian specifications.


2. Material for backfill shall be furnished by the Contractor from the excavated site material to
the extent available. Additional backfill, similar to the site material, shall be furnished by the
Contractor where required. If excavated material is not suitable as backfill, Contractor will
replace it with acceptable material such base course.
3. Concrete enforced base should cover tower footprint plus 0.5 meter around tower legs base
with 20cm above asphalt level.
4. Fill materials shall be placed in horizontal layers of 25 cm lifts and each layer compacted
with vibrating compactors.
5. The finished grade at backfilled and other disturbed areas shall conform to the lines and
grades of the site. Areas around buildings and towers shall be graded so as to cause surface
water to flow away from them.
6. Site size is 20 mX20m with 4 meters gate, gate and fence specs listed in below point (fence
and Gate specs)
7. The site should be cover with 5 cm after compacting Asphalt after 25cm compacted
base-course layer and comply to below Asphalt work requirements .
8. Retaining walls are required to be constructed on one and half site sides with height 150cm,
30 meters long, the walls should be suitable to bear pressure of excavation materials for 1.3
meter height. Also one normal wall is required for the fourth side of site on 25 cm width and
60 cm above external site ground level, all required depth excavations or wall enforcement
contractor responsibility and complies with PCP supervision engineer requirements.
9. Site entrance finishing with site road is contractor responsibility.
10. Site access road with long 100 meters and 3 meters width are required to be rehabilitated,
the required work is 20cm base-course and 5cm Asphalt, one side water drainage
preparation along the rod length and comply to below Asphalt work requirements

ASPHALT WORK REQUIREMENTS

a. Sub grade preparation: Cut and fill with suitable material to the required grade (tope of
sub grade level) work including watering, mixing and compaction to 95% Modified Proctor
hauling the extra material to the approved location.
b. Base-course layer 20 cm thick: Supply, lay and spread Well Compact crushed
aggregate Base coarse Class A in horizontal layers not exceeding 20cm thickness of
specified CBR(>80 %). Rate includes leveling, watering, mixing, testing and compacting
of ground (sub-Grade) under base course
c. Asphalt Wearing Course: Supplying and laying 5cm thickness compacted asphalt layer
(3/4) inch. The price including compaction and testing of asphalt and the work
including supplying & spreading Prime and Tack Coats: Bituminous Prime Coat, type
MC-70 speeded with a rate of (1-1.5) kg/m2And according to specifications and Project
supervisor Instructions

SHELTERS SPECS AND MATERIALS

The required Shelter should be complying with international specification to accommodate Radio
equipment. The shelter will also house microwave equipment, servers equipment, power supply etc.the
physical specs for the shelter room should meets below specs.

The shelter internal size is 600x400x260cm, external size is multi lock with master key, isolation for each
side, anti-static PVC with copper strip, Nameplate for shelter name, painting against weather condition
guarantee for ten years minimum, feeders frame and air conditions frame with removable cage for the
outdoor units with multi lock, main distribution board with specified below (under MDB specs).

Shelter Floor Layers:


1. The Floor base structure consists of outer Hot-dip galvanized steel longitudinal rectangular tube
bridges section 10cm, 3.5mm thick for the main structure(all around the floor and with crossing
braces each 1.5 meters)
2. The internal partitioning of the floor structure is made of longitudinal rectangular tube section
bridges 80*40 mm, 2mm thick, in close distances (no more than 50cm) to provide stability and
prevent floor vibration.
3. 1mm galvanized steel sheet on bottom area.
4. Fire resistance material to isolate floor from outside (between steel sheet and wooden layer).
5. The floor will be covered by 1.7cm thick Frames of wood (sandwich) to be installed on the ground
steel members of the shelter floor
6. The shelter wooden floor will be covered by one layer of 2mm thick PVC anti-static / fire
redundant carpet.

Walls Layers

1. Should be made and covered with 2.2mm hi dip galvanized metal sheet
2. External type of paint with white color
3. External wall cladding fire resistance paint.
4. Hot-dip galvanized double welded 50x50x2mm angle steel profiles at the each 1 meter around all
4 shelter walls will installed vertically between shelter floor and roof frames .one horizontal frame
is required to be install between vertical frames on the middle height of shelter walls.
5. Shelter corners 10x10 cm.3.5 mm thick pole installed vertically between floor and roof frames
6. PUF insulated walls panel with the thickness of 60mm puf materials and double 1mm metal
painted sheets in each side.

Ceiling Layers

1. Should be made and covered with 2.2mm hi dip galvanized metal sheet.
2. The roof base structure consists of outer Hot-dip galvanized steel longitudinal rectangular tube
bridges section 10x10cm, 3.5mm thick for the main structure(all around the ceiling connected to
the vertical elements around all the walls ) with crossing truss braces each 1 meters made from
rectangular tube bridges section 4x4cm, 3.5mm thick.
3. 1.7cm thick of wooden layer (sandwich) to be installed on the shelter ceiling truss.
4. PUF insulated ceiling panel will be installed internally under truss and wooden layer with the
thickness of 60mm puf materials and double 1mm metal painted sheets.
5. Roof has 4 hungers to enable smooth lifting for shelter; these hungers will be attached to corners
poles.
6. Roof shall be covered with bitumen carpet with the %5 rain water slope.

Doors and Door Frames

1. The cabin shall be equipped with a fire redundant white door, minimum size 1100 x 2000 mm, in
the middle of the shelter width side. The door shall have a tight fit.
2. The door shall open outwards and be right hinged. To prevent damages, the door shall be
equipped with a stop mechanism.
3. The outside door handles shall be possible to operate with a glove-covered hand.
4. The door and frames are to be sufficiently robust to withstand a high degree of vandalism.
5. The door must be fireproof (inside insulation material should be fireproof).

Air condition

1. Each shelter is equipped with two 2 ton, 3 phase air conditions to maintain the ambient
temperature of the room.
2. Each AC unit should be configured and controlled to operate 6 hour in continues mode, in
case of failure of any unite the second one will operate all time in full redundancy control.
3. Outdoor unit should be protected with special enclosure and multi lock keys.
4. The AC unite should be Brand and designed for 24 hour continues duty, suitable for telecom
and server room applications with electrostatic filtering mechanism.

Cable Entry

1. 12 Ports Entrance Panel, 3 x 4 opining, 4 diameter to allow safe cable entry as well as keep
inside environment isolated from weather condition and dust source.
2. 12 Pcs SnapSeal Entry Cushion with 3 holes for 7/8 and1/4 cables should be includes.

Internal cable tray

1. Two cable trays are required to be installed inside the shelter on four sides, one 30 cm width
for data cables and the second one for power cables with 10 cm width and sufficient spacing
between two cables trays.
2. Both cables trays should have distance of 40 cm from shelter walls, and hanged 30 cm from
ceiling level and attached to wooden layer in ceiling construction.
3. Grounding non isolated copper cable is required to be installed at each cable tray.

Furniture

Contractor should deliver with shelter the following items:-


1. One 60cmx120cm wooden desk.
2. Two heavy duty chairs.
3. One 4 Steps Aluminum Ladder.

External Electrical preparations

1. One electrical tower should be installed at site corner according site layout and electrical
comply regulations, 3 copra flex pipes buried under essfalt layer should installed between
external MDB and internal MDB also to generator location.
2. 4 LED power projectors, 500watt are required to be installed at the four corner of the fence
ate height 4 meters above ground level.
3. All wiring between internal MDB and LED projectors should be secured by cast aluminum
pipes and needed junction boxes.
4. Control circuit and photo sensors are required to control day and night operation
automatically.
5. Electrical registration fees and materials for 64A load are contractor responsibility. PCP will
provide all required letters in order to proceed with their consignee name.
Electrical preparations
The shelter is electrically prepared with single phase 12 Gawiss sockets 5 each long side plus two in width
side and four covered water proof double neon lamp are required to be installed in ceiling, below diagram
for three phases main distribution board (MDB) showing the number of CBs, A/V meters and other electrical
components.
Generator:-
1. Perkins engine, minimum 45 kW diesel generators or equivalent brand.
2. 3 phases, 415/240 volt, 50 Hz @ 1500 rpm, auto start control, supplied in original acoustic
enclosure; with 90 amp ATS panels.
3. Digital AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL (ACP) protected by lockable door
4. Omega steel 2000 litter external trunk filled with 2000 litter fuel.
5. Cables 5X16mm PVC, 5x2.5 control cables and conduits, manholes and infrastructure.
6. 6X4 meter umbrella for generator and external tank made from 8x4 cm profile, ceiling and last
60cm sides top are covered with 0.63 mm thick corrugated sheets ,the internal face is hot-
galvanized and the external faces is white powder painted.
7. Concrete base for shelter and tank

Fence and Gate :

1. The fence grid is made of a mesh of hard steel set in 200/50 mm squares, with 5mm wire
thickness, the height of the fence is 2.55m, 2.00m vertical and an additional 55cm section is
inclined outward with pointy spines. Decorative support beams are stretched across the fence,
made out of four 4.6mm hard steel wires at a 100/50mm density.
2. The length of fence is 50 meters long including gate width, will be installed in site angle on two
site sides.
3. The fence pole is an 80/40 rectangular profile with sides 2.00mm thick, capped with a decorative
anti-extraction one-fin plastic cap. The distance between the fences pole centers is 3.00meters,
around 30 meter.
4. A special 2.00mm thick 60/60 square profile corner pole with two inclinations (one per each fence
axis), enclosed at the top by a 3.00mm thick welded tin top will be installed at the corner of the
fence line. A steel grid, the same as the fences grid, will be welded at the gaps between the
inclinations.
5. A special leap pole similar to the fence poles, plus an inclined section will be installed at the
fences leaps. The inclinations are enclosed at the top with a decorative top. A steel grid, the
same as the fences grid, will be welded at spots where the inclination section exceeds 200 mm.
6. The support pole is a 2.00mm thick 60/40 rectangular profile. The support pole will be attached to
every 5th fence pole on the fences plain and to the fences first and last pole. Every corner pole
will be attached with two support poles. The support pole will be attached to the fences pole with
a flat 3mm thick metal plate and 3/8 galvanized bolt with a nut and two washers.
7. The fence poles will be inserted into the walls at a depth of 30 cm in minimum, fence grid also to
be inserted to the wall concrete at depth of 15cm.the fence top must be attached and fixed to
tightened stainless steel 6 mm cable.
8. The grid is interconnected in an overlapping layout and seamed top to bottom with stainless steel
contact rings. The grid is stretched using a stretched using a stretcher with a 2 ton stretching
capability, and attached to the fence poles using six 3mm stainless steel clips (4 clips on the
vertical section and 2 additional clips on the outward-inclined section)
9. Basic fence finish: Hot zinc bath galvanization of no less than 80 micron Additional finish: Over
toasted polyester in various shades. Print coating thickness no less than 80 micron.
GATE
1. Gate dimension 4 meters, two wings each 2 meters.
2. Gates lintel - 80/40/2.6 profile
3. Gates wing 60/40/2 profile
4. Support 60/40/2 profile
5. Gates grid 50/200/5 welded grid
6. Axes 19mm pin inserted into a 40/4 flat socket
7. The gate features external locking of the system by two handles with rounded edges and a
flat 40/8 iron edge with 20mm bores. The back section includes an internal latch for locking
using an 18 mm pin.
DESIGN CALCULATIONS AND DRAWINGS

1. Three complete sets of the tower assembly drawings, two sets foundation design one set of the
tower grounding system and one set of design calculations for the tower shall be furnished to
PCP in print and electronic form. All submittals must bear a Professional Engineer's/instituted
stamp.

2. The Contractor shall submit structural calculations, foundation, and erection assembly drawings
for the tower site location. Complete structural calculations are required covering all parts of the
structures and all relevant items. Actual stresses and corresponding allowable stresses shall be
listed for the vertical, diagonal and, girt members of the tower. Tower twist, sway, and
displacement calculations shall be made and identified for each antenna load. When computer
printouts form a portion of the calculations, the Contractor shall include sufficient information to
allow an independent engineer to thoroughly review the design.

3. Drawings must include the station name, tower height, manufacturer's name, manufacturer's
model number, antenna path azimuths, and elevation and plan views of the tower indicating the
tower orientation. In addition, the Contractor shall furnish section assembly drawings showing
all tower members with their part numbers, splice plates, ladder mounting details, bolt sizes and
types, and any other information necessary to identify each tower component.

4. Grounding system Drawing shall provide detailed information about the grounding system,
showing lengths, elements dimensions, elements connectivity, quantities, layout and method of
interconnection with shelter grounding system.

In case of awarding, the contractor/supplier should submit the following documents:

1. Site survey.
2. Soil test repot authorized from formal geotechnical laboratory.
3. Final tower base and retaining wall design.
4. As built drawing and schematics for construction, tower, fence, electrical
works and grounding system.
5. Tower assembly drawings.
6. Quality control and safety measures instructions.
