Part one

1. Summarize/Provide Background.
- We chose this to be first because its essential for defining the
project and is crucial in the development of our project by
allowing us to analyze and distinguish important from
unimportant information for our topic.

Criteria: at least 500 words relevant to topic

2. Conduct primary research by interviews, surveys, OR


observations
- Research is a tool for building knowledge and is efficient for
learning. By researching background information, we have a
better sense of what to present and share with others through
gathered reliable sources of information.

Criteria: put the information you gathered in an easy way to


understand

Part two
4. Write a proposal.
- With the gathered information, creating a proposal on the
information weve analyzed and researched will help give us a
better focus on the topic we intend to write about.

Criteria: 100-200 words, information observed from 8 different


sources and explains in more detailed about topic

5. Write a literature review.


- This is important because it provides an up-to-date understanding
of our topic and critically identifies and summarizes the
methods we used in our previous research.
Criteria: Summarize in a paragraph the thesis of each source

Part three
3. Develop a chart.
- Converting the detailed ideas into a chart will provide a better
visual for our information and aids in developing structure for our
research.
Criteria: shorten terms using our 8 reliable sources

6. Works Cited/Reference page


- To be a responsible student, giving credit to other researchers and
acknowledging their ideas helps avoid plagiarism.
