Genesis 6:5-7
After a few hundred years of the creation of the
world, the earth had become corrupt and people
had forgotten God. Sin had completely covered
the world and no one was doing good.
Genesis 6: 8-10
Could you imagine being the only Christian at
your school or at home? What would be some of
the difficulties you could face?
Genesis 6: 14; 17-22
God knew that if he let humankind continue that
the corruption was only going to get worse and
evil would encompass every sector. He didnt
want see his creation fall. So he had to restart
and provide hope for the future.
Do you think it was difficult for God to decide to
create the flood and wipeout mankind? Why or
why not?
Genesis 7: 1-6
What did Noah have to give up in order to be
obedient to God?
Do you think he got ridiculed by his peers around
him?
Have there been times where you have been
made fun of your peers and decided to conform?
Genesis 7: 17-19; 8: 4-12
Noah was on the ark for approximately 370 days.
This is much longer than what we typically think
of 40 days and 40 nights. He was on a boat with
only his family and all of the animals. He relied on
God to find his fulfilment and realized that he was
the one he needed to rely on.
How hard is it to wait for something, when you
dont know when it will come?
What can you do to find comfort in these times of
waiting?
