A CONCISE MANUAL TO LEARN THE BASICS OF ISLAM
Allah
is
our
creator.
He
created
all
the
people.
He
also
created
the
seven
skies
and
the
seven
earths
and
everything
that
we
see
around
us.
Lets
Color
these
Allah
created
the
trees
and
the
birds
***
The
Sun
and
the
Moon
The
plants
and
the
fruits
***
the
clouds
and
the

The
earth
and
the
dusts
***
the
skies
and
the
stars
The
mountains
and
the
hills
***
the
rivers
and
the

He
is
our
Creator
and
the
creator
of
everything
So
we
worship
Him
Alone
such
as
by
praying
Allah
has
no
father
or
the
mother
***
He
doesn’t
have
brothers
or
any
sisters
He
doesn’t
have
any
sons
or
any
daughters
***
He
is
not
a
man
or
a
woman
He
is
alone
and
only
He
created
the
human
beings
and
the
Jinns
Only
so
that
we
worship
Him
such
as
by
praying
Who
our
creator
and
creator
of
everything?

Allah
has
given
us
everything

Islam

We

We

They

they

and
they

But
they

and
they

All
Muslims
obey
Allah
and
follow
the
Prophet
Muhammad.
Muhammad
(The
peace
and
blessings
of
Allah

is
also
known
as
Rasulullah
(i.e.
Messenger
of
Allah]
If
we
follow
Islam
and
do
everything
Allah
and
Prophet
Muhammad
said,
then
we
will
have
a
good
and
happy
life
in
this
world
and
we
will
be
in
Paradise
after
our
death.
Paradise
is
the
best
of
all
places
to
be
in.
It
has
all
the
good
things
we
want
and
we
love.
Worshipping
Allah
alone
and
only
is
called
Tawheed
Worshipping
anything
else
but
Allah
is
called
Shirk
This
word
“Emaan”
is
in
Arabic
language
and
it
means
faith
in
English.
We
have
learned
that
our
religion
is
Islam
and
we
are
Muslims
because
we
follow
Islam.
In
Islam,
we
believe
in
many
things
and
from
them
are
the
six
major
things.
These
six
things
that
we
specifically
believe
in
are
called,
Pillars
of
Emaan.
Lets
Color
it
The
First
pillar
of
Emaan
is
to
believe
in
Allah.
We
believe
that
Allah
exists
and
that
He
is
the
only
one
who
created
everything
in
the
world.
Therefore,
we
must
worship
Him
only.
We
also
believe
that
Allah
has
most
beautiful
and
perfect
Names
and
Attribute
such
as
Allah
sees
everything,
He
hears
everything,
He
knows
everything,
He
is
the
Most
Merciful
and
He
is
the
One
Who
can
forgive
our
sins.
The
Second
pillar
is
that
we
believe
in
the
Angels
of
Allah.
Allah
created
the
angels
and
they
worship
Allah
and
do
everything
Allah
tells
them
to
do.
Allah
created
them
from
light
and
He
created
us
from
clay.
The
angels
have
wings
and
they
can
take
forms
of
man.
There
are
many
angels
with
different
work.
Jibreel
is
one
of
the
Angels
who
used
to
come
to
the
Prophets
and
Messengers
with
the
message
of
Allah.
Mikaeel
takes
of
rain
and
vegetation
by
the
order
of
Allah.
Israfeel
is
the
angel
who
will
blow
the
Horn
when
the
Hour
(Last
Day)
has
started.
The
angel
Malik
is
the
guard
of
the
Hell-‐fire.
There
is
also
an
Angel
who
is
takes
away
the
soul
of
people
when
it
is
time
for
them
to
die.
This
angel
is
called,
the
angel
of
death.
The
third
pillar
is
that
we
believe
in
the
Books
that
Allah
sent
down
to
His
Prophets
and
Messengers.
We
believe
that
Books
of
Allah
are
Speech
of
Allah
and
that
they
are
not
created.
From
the
Books
of
Allah
are:
the
Qur’an
that
He
sent
on
our
Prophet
Muhammad,
Injeel
(the
Gospel)
on
Prophet
Isa,
Torah
on
Prophet
Musa,
and
Zaboor
on
Prophet
Dawud.
The
Qur’an
is
the
only
Book
of
Allah
that
we
must
act
upon
because
the
Qur’an
has
overruled
all
other
books
that
were
before
it.
The
forth
pillar
is
to
believe
in
the
Messengers
of
Allah.
In
Arabic
the
Messenger
is
called
Rasul.
Allah
sent
His
messages
on
the
Rasul
to
convey
to
the
people.
Allah
sent
many
Prophets
and
Messengers
and
we
must
believe
in
all
of
them.
The
five
best
Prophets
and
Messengers
of
Allah
were:
Nuh,
Ibrahim,
Musa,
Isa,
and
our
Prophet
Muhammad.
Our
Prophet
is
the
best
of
all
of
the
Prophets
and
Messengers
and
He
is
their
leader.
We
must
obey
Prophet
Muhammad
and
believe
in
everything
he
told
us.
We
also
must
worship
Allah
in
the
way
our
Prophet
told
us.
The
fifth
pillar
is
that
we
believe
in
the
Last
Day,
it
is
the
day
when
mankind
will
be
brought
back
to
life
to
be
judged
about
their
actions
and
they
will
get
reward
or
punishment
based
on
their
actions.
It
is
called
last
day
because
there
will
be
no
day
after
it.
Afterwards,
the
people
with
more
good
actions
will
go
to
Jannah
(Paradise)
and
live
in
it
forever
and
the
people
with
more
bad
actions
will
go
to
Jahannam
(Hell-‐Fire)
and
live
in
it
forever.
Who
is
the
best
of
all
of
the
Prophets
and
Messengers?

day?

The
sixth
and
last
pillar
of
Emaan
is
that
we
believe
in
the
Pre-‐Destination
and
its
good
and
its
bad.
This
means
that
Allah
knows
about
everything
that
happens
in
the

before
they

and
He
wrote
down
everything
in
a
Book
that
He
kept
with
Him,

Al-‐Mah’foodh”
(The
Preserved
Book).
Also
that
everything
in
the
world
happens
only
with
the
permission
of
Allah
and
that
Allah
created
everything.
Pillars
of
Emaan
are

they
are:

Angels
3.

Who is Prophet Muhammad?
Allah
sent
our
Prophet
Muhammad
sallallahu

of
Allah
be
upon
him)
as
a
Mercy

Our
Prophet
was
born
on
Monday
of
571
C.E.
in
Makkah
of
Saudi
Arabia.
His
father
name
was
Abdullah
who
died
before
our
Prophet
was
born.
Our
Prophet’s
mother
name
was
Aminah
and
she
died
when
our
Prophet
was
6
years
of
age.
After
that
his
grandfather
Abdul
Muttalib
raised
our
Prophet
and
then
his
uncle
Abu
Talib.
Our
Prophet
used
to
go
to
the
cave
of
Hira
in
the
mountain
of
Noor
to
think
deeply.
He
used
to
think
about
his
people
who
used
to
do
all
types
of
evil
things.
Our
Prophet
was
a
good
man.
He
used
to
do
all
good
things
like
feeding
the
poor,
joining
family
ties,
and
he
was
always
truthful.
His
people
used
to
trust
him
and
used
to
call
him,
“al-amin”
(the
trustworthy).
One
night
when
our
Prophet
was
in
the
cave
of
Hira,
the
angel
of
revelation,
Jibreel
came
to
him.
Allah
sent
Jibreel
alayhe
assalam
(peace
be
upon
him)
with
first
five
verses
of
Surah
Al-‐Alaq
to
the
Prophet
Muhammad.
The
coming
of
this
noble
Angel
with
these
verses
of
the

Prophethood
for
Muhammad

Our
Prophet
was
then
40
years
of
age.
