Foreword

This Power Plant Technical Vocabulary textbook is made to increase the understanding
about Power Plant equipments between both Chinese and Pakistani Colleagues. This book
contains the English, Chinese and Pinyin of power plant equipments. This book covers the areas
of Electrical, boiler side and turbine side equipments. This book also contains the pictures of
equipments along with translation for better understanding.

The need of this book was felt to decrease the communication gap between the Chinese
and Pakistani Colleagues, also to further strengthen workforce training and improve the
professional quality of operating personnel. We hope that it will increase the spirit of team work
between the colleagues. Since it is said that if everyone is moving forward together, then success
takes care of itself.
